But, the real miracle was that yesterday, January 21, Covid became a much smaller issue. So much smaller that our Governor, good old Lockdown Larry Hogan, said that schools need to be open! Holy cow! And then he said cases had dropped 25% in ONE WEEK. Wowser! ( the sad thing about cases is that just the other day, the World Health Organization changed it’s interpretation of PRC testing because, wait for it, it was giving entirely too many positive cases! Wow. Who knew. Actually, yes, WHO knew. )
Of course, Larry was ecstatic since he was convinced it was his personal actions and his telling Maryland citizens to ” wear the damn mask” that were responsible. Lucky for him this happened NOW because his state was DEAD LAST in vaccine distribution. Will he give himself a medal now?
Also, someone PLEASE tell Karen Salmon not to wear a Maryland Flag mask again. It clashes with her detachment from and utter disdain for her constituents.
Also, Brandon Scott, with sudden success as Baltimore City’s Mayor could open restaurants again. Of course, his friends’ restaurants had been open the whole time, but now he could open everyone’s just a little. Well done, Brandon. You fit perfectly in the party of corruption.
Of course, who can forget Cuomo in New York who suddenly saw a way to open all business. And Lori Lightfoot, Mayor of Chicago, took time from her role as Dobbie in the Harry Potter musical, to release restrictions on her city. So now, you can step over the shooting victims and go have a great meal!!
