And no one bats an eye.

I was an Air Force brat which meant I moved around my entire life until I settled down and got married. We rarely stayed at one assignment for more than four years and my father was often gone on “TDY” ( temporary duty) to many different countries. It was difficult, but I saw many different parts of the country.

When I was in second and third grade, ( around 1961) we lived in Shreveport, Louisiana. I walked to Arthur Circle Elementary School every day. It was about a half mile from my home.

While I was on that walk I passed two different bus stops. One was for white people and one was for black people. I didn’t understand it at the time, but when I asked why there were two bus stops, my mother explained it to me. I didn’t understand, but she did her best. She seemed reluctant to talk about it. It was my first exposure to racism and segregation.

The next time I heard about segregation was when some classmates of mine were talking about a new law that might be passed that would allow black and white students to go to the same schools. Again, I didn’t understand why this was a big deal, but the children talking about it seemed fearful that it would happen. I had never met any black people, so I wondered why the other children were afraid. Again, I asked my Mom and she just explained that sometimes two different groups of people didn’t get along.

We left Shreveport and moved to Nebraska before anything changed in Louisiana. My experience there was completely different. While there weren’t many black kids in my school, we weren’t segregated. I was in schools that were on Air Force bases, and the military didn’t allow segregation, thankfully.

While I was in school in Nebraska, I learned about slavery, segregation, and civil rights in my history class. It was the time of Martin Luther King Jr. and Bobby Kennedy. I came to understand what the horrible truth of racism was. By the time I left Nebraska, both Dr. King and Bobby Kennedy had been murdered.

So, while I was able to see racism and segregation first hand, I was never a victim of it. And, still, the decision of the Biden Department of Education to reverse a Trump Administration policy that called dividing students, parents, and teachers into race based groups ” discriminatory” is shocking to me.

What this means is if a school system wants to divide those groups by race, it’s okay. Now, they can do activities that are black only, white only, hispanic only, whatever. They say it is for addressing issues of racism with others of the same race. This will make them more comfortable discussing problems, feelings, etc.

But, from where I stand, it is just segregation again. And I think it is counterproductive. What we need is not conversations in our tribal echo chambers. We need conversations with EVERYONE so we can learn from each other.

Example. The other day I was in the gym with my trainer ( the owner of the gym) and another friend who is a preacher having a discussion. For context, I will add that the gym owner is white, the preacher is black. We were talking about racial issues that had recently been in the news. The conversation took up most of my training session, but it was so worthwhile.

It was a lively discussion with each of us stating opinions, the others listening and asking questions, and yes, at times strongly disagreeing. But, amazingly, unlike what we read on social media or hear on T.V., there was no name calling, no shouting, no dismissive attitudes, etc. And, when it was over, we all were still friends. But we were friends with new found respect and perspectives.

That would not have happened if we were in a segregated group.

I believe the more we are together in person, the more we learn about each other and begin to have real understanding. Heck, we may even change our minds on a thing or two.

And that’s what we need right now. We don’t need anymore divisive labels and groups. We have a huge fight ahead of us. It’s a fight FOR freedom and against slavery, a fight for individual rights and true equality. Not the equality of having a hierarchy of victimhood, but equality of allowing each person to receive the same protection under the law and to conduct an equal pursuit of happiness.

There are powerful forces that don’t want us to achieve that. They want to dismantle it. That is why, as with the Biden Department of Education reversal, they want us isolated in our own little boxes by race and gender. It’s easier to defeat a country that way. Ask the Chinese. Or the Russians. Or the Germans of the 40’s.

Forced segregation is not and will NEVER be good. We hope that people don’t voluntarily segregate from others for reasons of race or gender. NO matter how many pretty reasons you create for it or academics you get to support it, it is racism, plain and simple. Just like those old bus stops and schools of my childhood in Louisiana.

Poor Larry Hogan. Just when he thought he was “America’s Favorite Governor” he had a huge wake up call. Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, who should be reeling from the effects of the winter storm that decimated Texas and the ERCOT scandal that has ignited the anger of Texans, opened Texas. He joined the ranks of South Dakota’s Governor Chrisy Noem as some of the most popular governors in the country. It must be heartbreaking for Larry who had his eyes focused on the 2024 election. Certainly, with his actions during the scandemic, he was the frontrunner. And now he isn’t. CNN won’t even answer his phone calls.

The easy solution would be for Larry to open up the state with a great deal of pomp and celebration. Except he can’t and here’s why.

Let’s remember that when the scandemic hit a year ago, Larry was mired in the mud of mediocrity in the state. Even though he was a Republican Governor in a majority Democrat state, Larry wasn’t making much impact. Outside of lowering bridge tolls and canceling a mass transit project outside Baltimore, Hogan’s actions were barely noticeable. ( And, to be honest, that project cancelation actually benefited Hogan’s old business by allowing land it owned to be in the conversation for a profitable sale to the state for another projects triggering some criticism from many.)

Even Republicans who were excited to have a Governor from their party, were underwhelmed.

And then the scandemic hit.

Like most Governors, Hogan was cautious at first. So little was known about the Covid virus that the decision was made to “close down for fourteen days to flatten the curve.” He closed most small businesses, leaving larger stores and “essential” businesses open. At the time, he didn’t even seem sympathetic to businesses for whom this was a tragedy. Maybe he really DID think it would only be fourteen days.

But, as the time came to make decisions about how to move forward, it seems as though Larry did something any good Leftist would do. He decided not to let a disaster go to waste. He upped the ante with a state of emergency, a mask mandate, continued closings, etc. And he used all of his actions to bash President Trump. As the summer went on and businesses realized they couldn’t survive this way and as people got tired of the mask mafia screaming at them with every opportunity, Larry must have realized that he needed to do SOMETHING.

He looked to his big brother Governors, Cuomo, Northam, and Wolf. He saw how strict they were, how totalitarian, and how newsworthy their actions were. He girded his chubby loins and decided to out do them. He was mean. He was threatening, he told them to “follow the science.”He didn’t care about the businesses, it was about saving lives. ( Although it seems the lives of nursing home patients didn’t figure in that statement.) He made sure that he worked closely with Johns Hopkins, the Maryland Department of Health, and the CDC to be proactive in calling many deaths Covid deaths whether they were or not. Faulty false positive test results provided support for his actions.

He thought he’d make himself look really heroic and order Covid tests from Korea, even though the President was offering them from domestic companies at a cheaper price. The Korean tests were an oppotunity to show how he and his wife would do anything, even flying to Korea first class, for the people of his state. He spent 50 million dollars to show the love to Marylanders, disregarding that it was actually their money he was spending.

CNN called. MSNBC called. All the mainstream media clamored for an interview, especially when they discovered how much Larry hated Trump. They hailed him as the next coming of Ronald Reagan, the savior who would come riding in to save Republicans. He wrote a book in two weeks and had it published. The quick turn around on that was a miracle, sort of like those Korean tests. He got a front page article in Rolling Stone as “America’s Most Popular Governor.” He was a ROCK STAR!

Then something bad started happening. The citizens of Maryland said, “Not so fast, Larry. We are kind of tired of your nonsense.” The tests from Korea had to be sequestered because they were faulty. All that money and his wife’s valuable time wasted. And Trump just stood there smiling at Larry’s folly.

Again, Larry looked to his role models, Cuomo and Wolf. They were telling people to stay home over the holidays. And they weren’t very nice about it. So, Larry did that too. He was surly, even mean. He told people that HE would not be with family over the holidays. So there! Again, CNN and MSNBC were there to stroke his ego. They loved him even more when he said he would do a write in vote for President rather than vote for Trump.

He was sure the Covid numbers would spike over the holidays. After all, Fauci had said so, and Fauci was a god. Larry donned his military garb like he was a soldier against Covid. He made a commercial and chose the best tagline of all times, “Wear the damn mask.” Who wouldn’t love him?

The people of Maryland didn’t seem to get the message. They wrote mean things on his Facebook page. They sent him mean e-mails. They made fun of his weight. So, the man who called Trump crude and rude, responded to his citizens with rude responses that not even Trump could top. He banned people from posting on his public Facebook page. And, while gyms were closed to the common folk, he worked out with a trainer and lost weight.

But, he didn’t relent. He gave small crumbs of freedom back to his subjects. And, when Biden was installed, Larry cozied up to old Joe with the adoration of a fan boy. He even sent the National Guard to D.C. for the “installation” of the Biden administration. ( Which was funny because he wouldn’t send the National Guard to Baltimore when it was burning down in 2015. But I digress.)

And now, as Covid numbers “fall” and other Governors defy the increasingly unpopular gnome Fauci and open up, Larry is at a loss. He has no big brothers to look to for models. Mario is up in New York collecting sexual harassment charges and Wolf, well, who knows what he is doing. So, Larry opens up “a bit” releasing confusing and poorly written guidelines.

Why not just open up? Many Americans are realizing that this whole Covid event is a scheme. It’s a scheme to ruin the American economy, to justify grossly extravagant spending bills and debt, and to promote the theft of an election. Wouldn’t this be a great time for Larry to “be the bigger man” and stand up for Maryland?

The jobs would come back, businesses could come back, people would be free again.

Despite all it would do for our state, he can’t do it. To open up now would not only cancel the State of Emergency money and powers, it could possibly earn disfavor with Biden, Pelosi, and the great Blue Mafia. And that would mean the loss of money, tons of unaudited money. Trump would be right.

Even more important, it would show that Larry is either the biggest fool on earth or the biggest self serving fraud, or both.

He would have to make a statement like this, ” Wow, was I wrong. We did all this when we didn’t have to.”

Imagine the lawsuits. Imagine the derision among Democrats. Imagine the phone messages to CNN and MSNBC not being returned. Imagine his book on the sale table at Dollar General.

And imagine a political commercial, as he runs for higher office in the future. The tagline “Oops, my bad” doesn’t work very well.

I hate the “history” months. I guess that makes me a horrible person, but I would prefer that we celebrate American History each day by highlighting historic contributions of Americans of all races. It doesn’t matter because these months aren’t going anywhere. In fact, I expect we will add more. And that is sad because that is an implication that we don’t consider the subgroups named as great Americans in their own right, but only because of skin color or gender, tribe, etc. Just more ways to divide.

But since this is Women’s History Month I want Kamala Harris to know I think she should be ashamed of herself. I won’t get into her personal habits or how she made her way through California politics. I won’t mention her fraudulent portrayal of herself as a “black” woman.

She should be ashamed because she supports the man who single-handedly is destroying women’s sports.

As a child of the 60’s and 70’s, I remember that there were not many opportunities for women to be involved in sports. Little League was just for boys. Most youth leagues and high school sports were for boys. Occassionally, a girls’ team would crop up here and there, but we were grossly outnumbered. I was a girl who wanted so much to be an athlete. I wanted to play baseball. I wanted to play basketball, and not that stupid half court game girls played. I wanted to run track.

I did get to run track. In fact it was one of the only girls’ sports available, so I did high jump and run sprints. I wasn’t very good, but I loved the challenge. When I got to high school, of course, girls sports were considered second class. There were limited sports available and they didn’t even really compete as a varsity sport. They were club sports.

Then, on June 23, 1972, an amazing thing happened and Title IV was created, President Nixon ( a Republican) signed it and suddenly women’s sports were important for the first time in the lives of so many.

In the years since, women’s and girl’s sports have exploded. My daughter and her friends have had opportunities we never had including collegiate athletic scholarships in a variety of sports. There are now pro sports for women as well. The numbers of young girls playing sports in this country is in the hundreds of thousands.

For women of all ages, so many opportunites have opened up. Women are now competing in many lifetime sports as well. For example, in distance running, women of all ages comprise more than half of the participants.

Things were looking so good for women in sports.

And then, an old man who didn’t even seem to know what he was doing, signed one executive order that destroyed all of that. With that order, he allowed biological men who now claim to be women, to compete against women in women’s sports. All of a sudden, a male who by biology is stronger, bigger, and faster can call himself a woman and use that unfair advantage against women in competition. And, regardless of how many hormones you take to suppress your male hormones, the lasting effect of being a man for a huge part of your life gives you stronger bones and muscles.

Women are already paying the price for this disastrous order. Girls who used to be in line for athletic scholarships are now overshadowed by biological boys who have suddenly become girls. Female fighters are being beaten almost to death by biological men who are now ” women.” Competitive records set by women are now obliterated by trans competitors. Instances of the new uneven playing ground are plentiful. The careers and lives of female athletes are being destroyed.

And all to placate a certain group of people and pander to the radical political agenda of certain puppet masters.

So, now let’s get back to talking about Kamala, a woman who wants to be held up as a role model for women, who wants to be touted as a champion for women’s issues, who wants to be reverred in this role as the first selected Vice President of the United States.

What has Kamala said about this attack on women’s sports? Has she stood up and condemned the unfair advantage of trans females over biological females? Has she expressed disappointment in the actions of her “boss?”

Nope. Not. One. Word.

Not a single word from a so called heroic first woman VP of the United States during Women’s History Month. I guess it doesn’t fit in her tactics to move further up the political ladder and gain more power. She doesn’t seem to think the rights of female athletes matter.

Shame on her.

For that matter, have you heard any of the “champions” for women’s rights say anything? How about the soccer kneelers on the U. S. team? Why haven’t these feminists spoken out?

The sad reason is that Harris and the feminists want so badly to be part of the Democrat power structure that they will ignore this decision. It doesn’t really impact them, they got theirs. And, although Democrats claim to be for different group causes, each subgroup has to take its turn as the “cause du jour” of the party. And once that time is up, they need to move to the back of the pack.

And guess who is at the front right now? Transvestites. Sorry girls, we’ve been replaced.

But, hey, happy Women’s History month. I hope you understand the irony you created.

As I said in a previous post, my husband and I are in the process of cleaning out and doing much needed maintenance on our forty year old home. Work, kids, and other excuses kept us from doing it in the past and now we are paying the piper. There is a ton of work to do. And we have to do a lot of it ourselves. Our children have their own lives and aren’t close by, so while they might be able to help a little, the long term, day to day commitment isn’t possible. It won’t be easy, but that’s the way it is.

Our situation seems to parallel what is happening in our country. After 244 years, it seems we need to do some maintenance that has been ignored. We once had a brand new country with the promise of a great Constitution and the government it designated. Along the way, repairs were made, many with the blood and lives of Americans.

But, in the last 70 years or so, we have been so busy worrying about other things, we have overlooked what is happening to our country.

There were so many distractions. While we fought needless wars in Vietnam and the Middle East, worried ourselves sick about the “Cold War” with the USSR, spent our time watching television shows and worrying about sports teams, our country and our Constitution were deteriorating.

Maybe we thought others would keep things in good shape. We relied on Presidents, Congress, and the government to do what was needed. We should have realized that, for the most part, they were the ones tearing the country down.

They made deals that created wealth for them. Some were with other countries; others with corporations and the ultra wealthy. They played both sides to the middle, sucking up to the super rich while telling the poor and the middle class that they had our best interests at heart.

The Biden administration is a prime example. While they courted the unions for their vote producing machine during the election, they turned on them and screwed them out of jobs within the first few days in office. They claimed to be for the “victims” of poverty while allowing the cities to decay and imprison many of the poor in a hopeless cycle of generational welfare instead of independence.

The Republicans were no better. While in power, they conducted various wars and military actions that benefitted only the companies that built and sold the weapons and the oil companies. They expanded the size of government while creating rationale to invade our privacy and deny us our rights. Remember the Patriot Act? All in the name of “national security.” Do you feel more secure now that they are allowed to spy on political opponents without warrant or reason?

And all the while we stood by, mesmerized by other things. We were too busy to handle our own lives, so we ceded the education of our children to the public schools, the control of our medical decisions to the CDC, and the protection of our rights to the lawyers, many of them in Congress.

Elections? We took them for granted. What could go wrong? Certainly no one would cheat. Some of us didn’t even vote.

And now, like an old home, our Constitution and our country are in need of major repair. Many of us are overwhelmed, because the job seems impossible. Our votes don’t seem to count and our politicians don’t seem to care about us. They have other masters.

People are waking up.

But, like always, they are hoping someone else can solve the problem. President Trump seemed like the one who could come in and fix the damages. And he did, but he was blocked so much that he was unable to fix as much as he wanted. Then, before he could finish the job, he was cheated of that right. Honestly, he is just one man facing the opposition of the government bureaucrats, deep state, and hostile Congress. Even if all had gone as planned, it was going to be an uphill battle.

If not a man, then many look to God. While God certainly can do all things, I think we need to remember that God is not a genie in a bottle that we call on from time to time to clean up the messes we made. Remember, he gave us free will which also carries with it responsibility. Responsibility to work with him toward making things right. After all, people don’t appreciate those things they don’t work for. He will help, but only if we do our part.

What is that part? What can we do? We need to realize that, like a 40 year old home that needs repair, it is a long term job that starts with one day, one action. Some actions will be small, others will be big. All the years of neglect won’t go away in a flash so we need to be patient. Patience doesn’t mean sitting and waiting, it means doing something every day to get us on the right track.

In my home, I have to do what I can do. I can’t rewire electric, repair the roof, etc. Those jobs require contractors with expertise. But, I can get rid of junk, clean out closets, take on small repairs. The repair of our country is the same way. We have to each use the talents we have towards this goal. If you are a good organizer, then organize groups. If you are a writer, then write. If you are a motivator, get out and get people excited about the task. If we each use our talents each day, we take a step towards change.

And then, when we need to, we can call in the ” contractors.” A word of caution, we need to make sure those “contractors” ( i.e. politicians, public servants) are honest, understand what we want, can do what we want, and that they have the skills and ethics they say they have. Once they are hired, we need to support their work in any way we can.

Let’s face it, like my husband and me with our house, we have been letting things go and hoping the problems will go away. We didn’t even think of what the neglect would do to our children. But now we are.

And so the hard work begins, with some help from God and each other. It won’t be easy, but nothing worth having ever is.

I am so glad that my children are adults. I’m also glad I’m not teaching anymore. I loved teaching, but I think the profession is much different from when I retired in 2012.

Schools are moving away from teaching children how to read, write, do math and think for themselves, and are now in the business of teaching divisiveness and blame. While it is imperative that we teach about the history of this country with all it’s good AND bad, it is horrible to teach that a particular group of people living now are helpless victims of the past, and other groups are to be blamed for the acts of the past and the hardships of others.

You see, I don’t think our current division is about race. I think it is division created to paint one group as victims and another group as victimizers. This is a common tactic used by Communist dictators to divide people in order to put them all under the control of government. If the people are fighting each other, they are less likely to fight totalitarian takeover. It is how Stalin and Lenin engineered the Bloshevik takeover of Russia.

And so, we see some children being told that they are victims and not responsible for whatever happens to them. What is worse is that they are also told that they cannot be successful by using their own talents and determination. To me, this is the most viscious form of racism because it sends a message to a child that he/she is truly flawed and cannot achieve.

We have another group of children being taught that they are responsible for whatever wrongs are in the world and that they don’t deserve success no matter what their talents are and their work ethic. For them, the effects are that they feel shame and worthlessness.

This is being wrapped in a feel good “social justice” theme and is being taught to students as young as Pre-kindergarten. It has very little to do with justic at all.

It also seems that the age appropriateness of teaching certain subjects such as sexuality have been thrown out the window. It is really okay to teach a three year old about being gay or transgender? Actually, shouldn’t parents handle these topics with their children?

And all of this is being taught in the middle of the ridiculous convoluted schedules schools are now attempting because of Covid 19. These schedules,which are often hybrids of in person and virtual learning, are already compacted. It is difficult to address all the educational needs to be taught in a regular school day, but now we have cut time and added this additional subject. This means something has to go, and it is certainly not the social justice portion of the day. Academic instruction is edited.

Research has proven that a student’s learning is permanently damaged by having two consecutive years of ineffective teaching or lost learning. It’s clear that the learning and development of our children are being sacrificed at the altar of protecting the school systems from lawsuits while pandering to the demands of teacher’s unions flexing their poltical influence.

God help the child who has learning disabilities in this situation.

For years, most parents left the teaching up to the schools and got involved if there were problems. But, with all of this going on, that time is over. Some educators feel they can dismiss the value of the parents since, they, the educators, know best. If you are interested in your children’s education and well being, you need to be more proactive.

If your child is in public schools, my first suggestion is to get them out. I taught for over 30 years in the public schools. I was an administrator for five years or so. What is happening now is an effort to mold your child’s social beliefs while diminishing parental impact. In short, they want to take you out of the decision making process. It’s a process that has been ramping up for quite some time. About ten years ago, an administrator told me that the ultimate goal would be having the children in school year round and from morning to night.

There will be a time when you won’t have a say about what your child is taught or not taught, which medical and mental health professionals treat your child while in school, and what they treat them for. And the government will support them.

My first suggestion is if you have good private schools in your area, religous or secular, try to get your child in one. Yes, it costs money. Some will be out of your financial reach. Some you will be able to afford with the sacrifice of other things in your lives that are luxuries. Others may be reasonable and affordable. Many offer scholarships.

Make sure you investigate that private school as well. While you may pay the tuition for private school, make sure they will teach what you want your child to learn. Private schools can fall prey to educational fads and agendas as well as public schools!

If private school is out of the question, then you may need to investigate home schooling. I know what you’re thinking. You are thinking you can’t possibly teach your own children. I know. It’s what I said when I moved my children into a private school from the public schools. Luckily, we had a great private school near us.

Probably the biggest drawback to home schooling is feeling you don’t have the knowledge to teach your kids what they need to learn. For the most part, you do. BUT, there are options to help you. For example, time4learning.com provides resources and structures for homeschooling families for an affordable price. ( $30 a month per high school student, less for elementary.) They even provide help for how to meet each state’s requirements and guidelines for homeschooling. There are others which can be found via the internet.

Another drawback may be that there are two working parents in the family and no one feels they can stay home with the kids and teach them. I can’t speak for everyone, but I do feel that there are ways that schedules can be arranged so that homeschooling can work. Remember, YOU get to decide when school is in session. With some creativity and determination, you can work it out. Look for other groups of homeschooling parents in your area and talk to them. See what they do. Some groups will work together to form a consortium that allows them to work together to have study groups, field trips and social events for the kids. There is help out there!

If neither of these options work for you, then you will have to get more involved in your public school system and your child’s school. Become acquainted with who school board members are, who administrators are, what is taught in your district, and how decisions are made. Go to public school board meetings as often as possible and if you have opinions about what is going on, sign up to speak.

( Special note: As a taxpayer, you have a right to copies of the curriculum, study materials, used in your district. You also have a right to view the rules and procedures in the system. DO NOT let administrators stone wall you!!!! )

I highly recommend that parents form action groups. The one thing I know about school boards and administrations, they HATE bad publicity. One parent speaking out won’t always move them to action. A group of parents will, especially if they are speaking to the press.

If you have a problem with an individual teacher, always follow the “chain of command” to address it. Most teachers want to work with parents, not against them, but if you have one who wants to impose his/her political or social agenda on your child, or who is treating your child badly, be prepared with detailed dated notes about what happened, when you spoke to the teacher, what was said, etc. When you challenge a teacher, the union will jump in to support them if the situation is serious enough. Again, go up the chain of command as it works in the district.

Consider running for school board.

None of these options are easy because all of them require that you get involved and spend time making sure the education system works for your child and other children. However, the Leftists are using our youngsters to establish a country that is divided and chaotic. They are creating a generation of non-thinking, unquestioning clones. The ones who will be hurt are our children and all the generations to come.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want that on my conscience.

Remember, our country is built on making lives better for the generations to come. We must maintain that tradition.

What is going on in the White House?

I follow a ton of message groups and apps. Some are more valuable than others. Sometimes I have to cull through the posts to find nuggets of truth and blogging gold.

In one group, there is a person who updates what they see on the White House video feed each night. Most of the time it is fairly mundane, although occasionally there will be some video that elicits speculation about what is going on. Who is being escorted out of the White House? Why are there police lights flashing? Is that smoke coming out of the roof? The most common observation is that the lights never seem to be on when they should be. People believe that this is an indicator that Biden is not in the White House.

I suppose it is an important question. After all, shouldn’t the alleged President and his wife be living there? Honestly, I don’t care where he lives. But I am worried about certain lights not ” being on.” They are not the White House lights, but something more important.

It’s been over a month since Mr. Biden was installed. In that time, he has signed Executive Orders, made a few scripted statements, travelled to Minnesota and Texas, shuffled around on the lawn with his wife while drinking coffee, and very little else. It’s clear from watching him that he has major issues.

Nothing makes it more obvious than his handlers constantly by his side, the non-existent press conferences, and the total nonsense that spews from his mouth even when he has a teleprompter. Oh, and when will there be a State of the Union? I thought the postal service was slow but Joe has proven to be much slower.

Then, there was the video clip I saw this morning. It was Joe in front of a camera supposedly broadcasting a video press conference. Except, it didn’t go well. It was not intended that Joe go off the prompter and answer questions. But, either no one told him or he just plain forgot. He looked blankly into the camera with a smile and said, ” I’m happy to answer questions now, Nance, if that is what I am supposed to do.” Nancy Pelosi, the person to whom he was referring, gave a tight grin and the feed was cut. She was heard to mutter something along the lines of ” stop this now. “

If you have ever had a parent that suffers from dementia, you will watch this event and it will be familiar to you. Dementia patients are lost mentally most of the time. They have that same blank expression and smile while you are talking to them, because they have no clue about what is going on. Then, once in a while, they will come out with some well ingrained response they might have given in the past. It may actually work in the situation, but it is meaningless because it is similar to a parrott repeating a phrase he has heard.

I’m sure over the 47 years old Joe has been in government, he has thousands of canned responses he can give from time to time. They probably bounce around his brain like ping pong balls in a bingo machine until one gets randomly sucked to the surface for use. The other day it was, “We’ve got it under control. ”

That was in response to a question about the chaos on the border, something he has NO control over and probably isn’t aware of.

It’s clear. In Joe’s brain, the lights aren’t on and nobody is at home.

The Dems know that. They have known it for a long time. But, in their cruel drive for power, they will do what Allinsky says and ” never let a crisis go to waste.” Joe is in crisis mentally, and they are going to use it for their own purposes.

I think they cut a deal with Joe. Well, maybe not with him but with his wife Jill and family. They realized early on the advantages of having a dementia patient in office. Think about it. Presidents with agendas can be a pain for those who want to promote a larger vision. Those Presidents, like Trump, actually may want to do something that benefits the American people.

That is the last thing that the lefists want. They want to get their Communist goals implemented as quickly and easily as they can. What better way than to install a shell of a man who will sign whatever and say whatever you tell him. While he is out there as the face of the radical decisions made, others can be behind the scenes crafting a plan for the next four years and beyond. Then, when things don’t work out and it is time for him to go, they can point to his incompetence and fraility and remove him.

Once he is gone, he can become the scapegoat for those policies that don’t workout. ” Yeah, we told Joe that wasn’t a good idea, but he did it anyway.”

His replacement can scoop in, tweak a few things, throw a few crumbs to the people, and be hailed as a saviour. And, voila, all is right with the world right before the mid-term elections.

I’m not sure how it will happen. Will they claim the 25th amendment and wheel him off to Happy Acres Senior Center? Will he come down with a debilitating illness that causes him to resign? Or something worse that will be blamed on those white supremacist, Nazi loving Trump followers?

He’ll be hailed as a martyr for the cause, someone who “served” even though he was incapable. His wife Jill will squeeze out a few tears in an interview on 60 Minutes and then find a hot young guy to head to Epstein’s Island with.

And we will be left holding the bag.

By that time the lights in the White House will be back on and there will be somebody at home there. And the plan of the leftists will be on it’s way to completion. I wonder if any of us will have lights on, or heat, or water, or food by then.

But they aren’t the only ones.

This isn’t the first time I have been banned on Facebook. The first time was for three days for sharing a post they didn’t like. The second time I was banned for a week for defending myself against someone who called me a racist c**t. This last time, I called Lindsey Graham a pussy and kiss ass. I got banned for a month.

Mind you, I am not always kind on Facebook. But, compared to some of the people I have reported for their threats and slander against me, I am Mary Poppins. One person just recently posted pictures of tanks and artillery in a comment on a post by Mike Huckabee and said, “trumpet ( trumper, he tried to hide it) if they try again to pull a coup these be coming through their front door. ” He also posted pictures of a swastika and a Maga hat, implying they were the same. I reported him. Facebook sent me the canned response that his comments did not violate any community standards. So, calling someone a pussy is a violation, threatening Trump supporters with violence is not a violation.

(And, in the spirit of full disclosure, I write them a message everytime they post a fact check on my posts. I’m sure they don’t like that, especially when I call out the bias of the companies which fact check. I do my research!)

It’s not fair. And it isn’t just happening to me. If you are a Trump supporter, you had better watch yourself. Anything, ANYTHING you say will put you in danger of being banned. A friend of mine got suspended for using the word “moron” in a comment in reference to Biden.

But, what is more concerning is what is happening on a larger scale. Yesterday, Dan Bongino reported on a new initiative by Microsoft and various other big tech firms. This initiative will create the “Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity.” Wow. Big and somewhat ambiguous words. What it means is that this coalition will be able to trace ALL internet content back to the original author. That means e-mails, messages, notes, essays, videos, audio files, pictures, etc. EVERYTHING. And, what is worse is that they will then judge the nature of those files and if you should be punished for them. It’s sort of like having a camera in every room of your house watching and listening to everything you do and say. If you say the wrong thing, someone will come and take you away.

Are you getting a vision of John Brennan having one big old CIA orgasm right now? ( if you don’t know who he is, look him up.) This is something the Democrats and the deep state tyrants have wanted to do for such a long time. The only thing standing in the way was it didn’t get passed in Congress. But now, Bill Gates and his gang of merry snoopers have suggested it themselves and are willing to do it. ( And, by the way, do some research on Bill. He is a terrible person and one to be afraid of. He is also pushing these vaccines. Hmmmmm…). And I am sure the Dems will gleefully go along.

They say they want to fight ” disinformation.” Is that a claim you have heard before? We heard members of the Biden regime ask for a department to censor any information the government doesn’t like or agree with.

Truth is in the eye of the ruler. Just ask the people of China about that. Those in power will tell you what is true and what is not, regardless of reality. Dissent will be not only forbidden, but could get you punished. Gulags, American style.

There are so many advocating for this; Chris Hayes of MSNBC, Dianne Feinstein, Chinese spy boss and Senator, and, wait for it, Mark Zuckerberg!

There he is. Good old Zuck. He said once that he and 80 other tech entities from across the globe were going to work together to fight disinformation. Was he thinking of working with Mr. Gates? Interesting thing is that both of them mentioned the main stream media as partners in their group. Let me say that again, MAIN STREAM MEDIA. You know, the ones who lied about Russia Gate, the Trump impeachment, the election fraud, and just about everything about Trump, Conservatives, etc.

Now, the ones who carry water for the DNC will be joined by another powerful group who will be able to trace the origin of ANYTHING that pisses them off no matter how it was created or who created it. And once they have that, they can come knocking at that person’s door to arrest them.

Don’t think that you will be spared because you shared something someone else created. In their eyes, that is just as bad.

Someone pointed out to me that this has been going on for a long time via the CIA. Another person reminded me that the Patriot Act, adopted after 9/11, opened the door for so much of this. Not surprising considering W’s dad one was not only President, but head of the CIA. Was it only about national security or was it about something sinister?

It’s scary to think about this as we slide into this dystopian black hole. Who can stop it?

Think about it. Perhaps only someone who had been the victim of unwarranted surveilance and unjust prosecution would have the understanding and passion to protect the American people against this. And that’s why they want to destroy him.

In twenty days I’ll be unbanned from Facebook. I’ll be able to post and comment and share. That is, until I do something that they don’t like. LIke maybe put an American flag picture up or call Biden a moron.

It will piss me off, but it won’t concern me like the bigger picture, because the ramifications of that affect the basic freedoms of an entire country.

The ever benevolent CDC, an agency that has never quite been able to get its data correct, its testing accurate, or its policy statements consistent, is now telling us, the serts of the United States, that if we get the Covid vaccine, we MAY be able ot gather with friends and family indoors without wearing masks. Should I kiss their feet now or after they give me some of my rights back?

I think I’ll hold off on that pleasure.

Back it up with Dr. Anthony ” I was never picked for teams in school” Fauci telling me that a twice vaccinated daughter could go visit her twice vaccinated parents and not wear a mask indoors. While he smiles because he has another television interview that makes him feel like a celebrity, you can see his little garden gnome ego growing by leaps and bounds. Look at the control he has over millions!

As if this joker has a clue. He has switched his story more times than a teenager who has to show failing grades to his parents.

These pint sized health care tyrants have taken great pleasure in the last 12 months. They have been wined and dined, quoted, praised, and called heroes. AS IF.

The real heroes are the nurses and doctors who have had to work under this nonsense scandemic and the American people who have had their lives destroyed because of hastily instituted and stubbornly maintained “safeguards” from public agencies.

I know Covid is real. I had a friend die of “complications connected to Covid.” That is sort of like saying that a person shot in the head died from lead poisoning. But, perhaps if Covid wasn’t around, my friend still would be. And, by the way, she followed all the protocols.

But I think the real pandemic was not the virus, but the carefully scripted panic. Add to that the enthusiasm and self importance of many government bureaucrats and you have a full blown man made disaster. Think about it, how long has it been since your local health department has gotten this much attention? Or the CDC? Or Anthony the Garden Gnome?

But now, since the election is over and people are starting to see the light, these tyrants want to show some compassion and give people the rights back that they should have never lost in the first place. And all people have to do is take a non-FDA approved, mostly non-tested vaccine with some serious side effects that could render one sterile or dead. And it doesn’t even guarantee anything about you being protected from Covid.

I think I’ll pass.

It’s not like they won’t try very hard to force people like me to take it. New York State is already trying to create some electronic “passport” that will get citizens into concerts, plays, sporting events etc. It will show the vaccine and a negative Covid test if you want to participate. Yeah. Okay. I don’t need those things that much.

Many will comply. I spoke to a lady this morning who said she would take it. She’s a smart lady, but she really hadn’t heard any of the negatives about the vaccine. She didn’t know about the possible side effects or the fact that it was not FDA approved. ( An emergency approval is not the same as an approval.) I got her thinking. At the very least people should have INFORMED consent and know all the pro’s and con’s.

I’m sure the Health Care tyrants will squeeze those of us who resist with more and more restrictions and check points, etc. No travel, no shopping, no grocery stores, no doctor visits, etc.

It won’t matter to me.

I value my freedom, my ability to make my own health choices, and my own rights more. And, quite frankly, I don’t trust them with any of my important life decisions. After all, these are some of the same people who support gender reassignment and abortion up to birth.

So, to the CDC, “thanks but no thanks” to your useless advice and pronouncements. Your track record is spotty and the people who you really work for are making billions off of your decisions.

I can manage my life on my own. The Constitution gives me the right to do so.

PS: Oh, and you can also take that “Mask Up America” commercial bull and shove it where the Chinese do Covid tests.

PSS: Oh, and the CDC commercial about the vaccine is CHOCK full of lies. Not extensively tested. Doesn’t protect you. Not safe. When they have to put out commercials you KNOW something is wrong.

When I was teaching and in administration in my district, people would ask each other this question all the time regarding student behavior, policies, etc. ” Is this a hill you want to die on?”

If anyone doesn’t know what it means, it is a way of asking someone how important an issue is to someone. In business, it’s a way of asking if a personal stand by an employee is worth getting fired over. It’s origins were in the military during war time, and the saying refers to whether or not a battle will be worth the casualties.

Most of the time, the answer is no.

I think we are coming to a point in our world where all of us have to decide whether an issue is the hill we want to “die” on. Of course, that assumes we will have a choice.

As the Biden regime continues in office, each day gives us a glimpse of what they want and what they are willing to do to certain groups of citizens to accomplish their agenda.

We have to understand some basic facts. The current regime and their cohorts in the House and Senate do not care what happens to the economy of this country, small businesses, and the more than 75 million people who support Trump. They don’t care if what they do is legal or Constitutional. In fact, it seems that they relish the idea of illegally and unconstitutionally investigating, charging and even jailing American citizens who don’t follow their orders and mandates. They crave that power. Look at what they have done to President Trump. Nothing they have attempted to do to him is legal, constitutional or ethical. Yet, they press on with a gleeful anger because they hate him, and, by extension, us.

How do we know they will do the same to us? Here are some examples:

*Participants in the January 6th march on Washington who were nowhere near the Capitol and did not participate in the breech have been contacted by the FBI for questioning regarding the protest. This was done without warrants. The FBI used social media and facial recognition programs to identify them. According to current FBI Director Wray, more interrogations of peaceful demonstrators will be done. Even more frightening, members of the military and law enforcement are being purged based on political beliefs that differ from the Biden regime.

*In many school districts in the U.S, children in all grades are being made to feel ashamed of being white. They are being told that they and their parents are racist just because they are white. They are also being taught to hate this country. In some others, children as young as four are being taught about transgenderism and encouaged to think about changing their gender. D.C. students are being given Covid vaccines without the knowledge and permission of their parents.

*Senators/Congressmen have made clear threats against Trump supporters, promising to “re-educate” them, jail them, ruin their lives, etc. A website was even created for people to report someone they know that is a Trump supporter so a list can be published with their names and addresses. This is called ” doxxing” and exposes Trump supporters to violence. Some businesses have fired employees after the employee’s social media account shows support for Trump. And, of course, businesses who support Trump are being boycotted.

*The 2nd Amendment has been under attack for a while, but now Mr. Biden is putting efforts into high gear. Proposed legislation requires gun owners to have psych examinations every 2 years, pay gun owners’ insurance, register nationally, and pay high taxes on ammo. These are just some of the provisions of tyrannical laws against a Constitutional right.

*Some lawmakers are advancing a law that would remove news outlets such as FOX, Newsmax and OAN from broadcast channels simply because of their Conservative views, thus ending the concept of free press.

*One of the worst denial of rights has to do with Covid 19. Based on the somewhat suspect advice of Dr. Fauci, Americans are now being told they may have to have an electronic medical passport in order to fly, shop, etc. They would have to show results of a Covid test and evidence of Covid vaccine. The other day, a Jewish family on a Frontier Airlines flight was thrown off the flight for not putting a mask on a youngster who wasn’t even 2 years old. The flight attendants allegedly cheered.

These are just a few of the orders and accompanying results of the Biden Regime’s mandates.

So, back to the question from the beginning. Which of these hills are you willing to die on?

When I say die, I mean are you willing to give up your comfort, safety, friends, job, etc? Are you willing to protest, putting yourself at risk to be arrested or worse? Are you willing to speak out and risk losing your right to be heard when fascist social media companies ban you? Are you willing to give up your time in order to home school your child? Are you prepared to be villafied publicly by those who favor tyranny and are part of the “hive” mind?

Some of you will say “no.” It might be out of fear for yourself and your family. It might be because you don’t have hope that things will change. Or maybe you are just too tired mentally and physically to fight.

Some of you will say “yes” knowing that this time in our country is crucial. If we don’t fight back now, our country, our freedom will be lost. You understand the sacrifice and accept it.

And then there are those of you who are equivocating. In the Bible, God calls them ‘lukewarm.” You are not sure. You know it’s bad but you just don’t trust what you are hearing. You are hoping these Communist tyrants are not that bad. You think that someone, something will protect you and your family. The truth is, they won’t. You will be out on your own, trying to figure out where your rights went as well as all of your physical belongings.

I read this post from someone on a social media site and it summarizes what might have to be the attitude of every single freedom loving American:

“Our freedoms will soon be stripped from under our feet and yet we sit and wait… for what? How can we ever trust an election if we allow this illegal one to be swept under the rug.? People, we are being played. When do we stop hoping and start acting? When it’s all gone? When we are waiting in six hour long lines for bread? When our children are dying of hunger? This is insane that we are waiting for some miracle to happen. People claim to be patriots. But, they are more concerned about being socially accepted so they don’t speak up and take a stand and make a change. This is MY country. I will fight for the generations to come. I won’t fear punishment or even death. My ancestors fought for our freedoms. I will too. And anyone who has a problem with that is my enemy.”-Name withheld

I know it sounds extreme. I know it is not something we ever thought we’d have to consider in our lifetime.

But sometimes you have to pick a hill to fight on, even if it means casualties and great loss.

CPAC was this weekend and it seemed to be a great conference. It culminated with a speech by President Trump. I thought the speech was fine and typical Trump. However, there were people online who were “disappointed.” Trump didn’t say what they wanted him to say.

What did they want?

First, we have to understand how desperate some people are right now. The Biden Administration has pledged to carry out policies that will ultimately destroy this country. This is after they “won” with election fraud that was extensive and provable, but virtually ignored by anyone who could overturn the results, punish those responsible, or prevent it from happening again. Add to this that they seem intent with purging our country of anyone who supported Trump, and people are frightened.

They were clinging to hope that some of the “theories” posed online would play out and Biden would be gone by now. Of course, this has not happened and it has devastated many.

Yesterday, they wanted Trump to tell them that a plan was still in place to evict the usurpers. They wanted him to tell them that drastic actions would be taken. They wanted fire and brimstone and they didn’t get it.

Some said he betrayed them. Some said he lied. Some said he left them hanging. Others said they are never voting again.

I get it. But, their anger is misdirected and it needs to be channeled into fighting to change what is wrong with our system right now. I know it is hard. They are overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. More on that later.

Trump was somewhat restrained, although he really said all the things I have heard from him before. He seemed focused on forging ahead and keeping up the good fight. But, he also mentioned that we need to be tougher, and we do. He called out the RINO’s who need to be removed. To, me, it was typical Trump.

Why might he be restrained, if he was?

Ever heard of a ” honey pot” or “honey trap?’ It’s when one side of a battle tries to entice someone on the other side to do something wrong or stupid by providing an attractive lure.Once a fighting force is lured into the trap, the other side surrounds them and defeats them.

I think that perhaps Trump was a bit restrained because he and his advisors may suspect that Trump supporters are being lured into a honey trap this week. They may be right. So many of the theories about how Trump will retake the White House kept mentioning March 4th as the date. This is because this is when Presidential Innaugurations were held prior to 1933. Many followers have hung their hopes on this date.

Knowing this, D.C. swamp dwellers have kept troops there and have told the press that they have heard of threats of violence by Trump supporters on that date. How easy would it be for them to make this happen with their own fake rioters? Pretty easy. They have done it once before.

If Trump had been more animated, had used any more “violent language” as these swamp creatures define it, then they could once again try to pin any violence on him and Trump Supporters. He knows that. After all, they tried to impeach fraudulently because of January 6th. He steered away from any talk of going to D.C. to demand the election be overturned or any talk of forcing officials to do the right thing. He only mentioned election reform. And that was brilliant.

I guess some folks wanted him to create a new party. They had heard he was going to. That’s also a honey trap created by the mainstream media. Again, that is another thing the Dems would love. Convince us to split ourselves up into two small parties. Like Trump said, that dilutes our voting and helps the Dems.

So he delivered a speech that was one of moving forward while pointing out the evil things the Democrats are doing and the good things his administration had done. It’s what was needed. But it disappointed the desperate. They wanted the drama, the movie, etc.

So, let’s get back to what they need to do. First, they need to get off their asses. I know they are overwhelmed. They need to take ONE STEP today to get involved in whatever local political cause they can. They need to focus on the talents they have to offer to helping change occur. It may seem hopeless, but it’s only hopeless if we quit!

But, please, give Trump credit for what he has done and stop yer bitchin’.
