It’s been going on since the election, constant drips and drops of “information” about what is going to happen, how Trump will win, what is really going on, blah blah blah.
This is what we saw. Usually, it was either a Tweet, a post, or a video of someone “in the know” who would tell us what was going to happen. Although some of them could still happen, most of the theories have been shot down with reality. And in their wake are thousands of people who are upset and discouraged.
I’ll admit, I was taken in by a few of these theories. Usually, it was my hope that we could rid ourselves of this Biden/Harris Socialist nightmare. Occasionally it was anxiety about the current situation.
I know you have heard all of it by now, so I won’t rehash the ideas and theories. That’s not the point of this.
I do have several things for us to think about collectively.
First, do we really think that some guy or group of guys sitting in their living rooms talking have the sources they claim to tell us what is going on? I’m not saying these people are lying, I’m just saying that it seems unlikely to me that “someone in the know” would call someone up and divulge the “plan.” I really think these people DO believe what they say. And, they aren’t always wrong about everything. The fact that they are sometimes right about some things makes it easier for people to believe everything they say. For example, many were right that the people who stormed the Capitol were NOT primarily Trump supporters. But, honestly, I knew that right away without hearing a podcast. I also knew something wasn’t right with the situation because it just seemed too easy for the Capitol to be breached. But, do I know why or who planned it all? No. I have theories, but they are just that.
Second, having come from a military family and also knowing history, I know that no one who is planning a battle or a way to win a “war” every tells a whole bunch of people that plan. Do you think Eisenhower would have gotten on the radio in World War II and announced the plans for D-Day? Do NFL football coaches come out and tell the general public their game plan? No.
And they don’t let those plans get out either. Tens of thousands of spies from ancient times till now made a career out of that fact. Leaders want secrets to be kept secret, especially now with all the deep state actors around.
So forgive me if I disregard the theory that Trump is somehow going to round up all of the Democrats and Republican traitors in D.C. on Inauguration Day and arrest them. If he was, by now you would have seen Nancy and her minions dashing out of D.C. I also don’t believe she is already under arrest. If she had been arrested, you would have heard her screeching all the way to the West Coast. If the Pope had been arrested, every Catholic in the world would know.
How do we deal with all these theories then?
One of the things we have to do is ask ourselves, what is the objective of all bloggers/Podcast creators? Even with my little blog, I want as many readers I can get, even though I make no money from it. So, if Joe Smith in his living room can get you to keep clicking on his videos, he’s going to make sure that happens.
That doesn’t mean they all have bad ulterior motives. Maybe they believe what they have been told by someone. Maybe they think they are helping. Maybe they are trying to spread misinformation to “confuse the enemy.” I have no idea.
The next thing we have to do is pay attention to who ISN’T talking. The people who aren’t talking are certainly the ones who know what is happening and what is at stake. They are not going to get on a video and share that with us.
Some folks respond to that by telling us that the main players are talking in code. You know, take the first word from every other sentence and use them to make a sentence. Or maybe pay attention to how many minutes apart a person’s posts are. Again, if it was so simple that internet groupies could decode it, don’t you think the ” enemy” would figure that out? In World War II, the military used codes so complicated that it took experts forever to crack them. I’m not buying the code idea.
Finally, we have to think for ourselves. Do we really think that we wouldn’t know that 250,000 Chinese troops were stationed on the southern border? Don’t you think SOMEONE would notice? Imagine rancher John checking his fences on the Rio Grande and seeing a bunch of Chinese guys hanging out. Don’t you think he would call someone? I’m fairly sure he would.
If something doesn’t make sense to us, we need to use our brains. I agree that 30,000 National Guard in D.C. with 50 Strykers with grenade launchers and anti-aircraft artillery, drones, etc. seems like overkill if you are worried about protesters, but it doesn’t lead me to ” we are being invaded.” It just tells me that it is not what it seems. I don’t know why.
Now, I get it. I watch Ancient Aliens. I have seen the Cabal videos. I know that things can be hidden. It’s one of the reasons I am fairly sure that we haven’t heard what is going to happen.
So, what do I think is going on? Frankly, I have no idea. But I know this, whatever it is is out of my control. It is in the hands of God and it is also being managed by people way above my pay grade.
So maybe my best bet is to take all the theories with a salt mine’s worth of salt and pray. Always pray.
