What do all these things have in common?

If you said “they are all people I don’t trust,” or “liars,” I can completely understand. You are not wrong. Many of them are in those groups. But, I have something different in mind.

THEY ARE ALL OUR EMPLOYEES.

Yes, that is correct. They work for us. Somehow, some of them have forgotten that and seem to see us as a nuisance. I saw that first hand last night.

I went to a local school board meeting with a group who will be fighting against the indoctrination of our children in our schools. It is the beginning of what will be a HUGE task for us here and for many of us nationally.

We have amazing, talented people in our group. They are well educated, accomplished, and passionate about saving our children from hate.

These are some of the actions that people who are paid by taxpayer dollars took prior to and during the meeting:

1. A Superintendent called a constituent a liar based on the statement regarding meeting attendance from the local Health Department which conflicted with what the district was saying. The Health Department official, who I guess was trying to cover her butt and the Superintendent’s, lied about what she said. Has Covid made them better liars?
2. The local Teacher’s Union President, who is a teacher, paid by taxpayers and whose salary as Union President is paid for through teacher’s salaries which are paid for by taxpayers, dismissed a constituent who was trying to discuss Critical Race Theory. Instead of being a normal human being and stating his points, he smirked and dismissed her with ” have a nice day.” ( Which was his way of saying “F**k you” to her.) What are you afraid of Mr. Big time Union guy?
3. A parent spoke in the meeting to advocate for her child. As she spoke, she was rudely interrupted by the Board’s attorney, who is paid through taxpayer funds to provide legal advice to the board. God bless the parent, she kept on going and got her point across.
4. The rest of the meeting was fairly calm, although I was a bit concerned that the system will be getting 8 million dollars from the government to do something with. Oh, excuse me, from the TAXPAYERS.
5. Oh, and what’s the deal with the “rule” that Board members may not enter into discussion with the public during public comment? They can with employees, why not with their bosses, us?

Folks, the examples from this meeting are just tiny indicators of how our public servants view us. In their opinions, we are supposed to sit down, shut up, and let them make all the decisions. We are supposed to let them indoctrinate our children, decide what is best for our children, and stay out of it. Covid 19 has proven that they don’t even want us to make our own medical decisions.

As long as we keep footing the bill, they will do whatever they want, whenever they want, to whoever they want, and to an extent that they want.

And it seems it gets worse every day.

In all fairness, there are some public servants who get it. They respect the public. I just wish there were more of them. There are just too many who feel we are here to do their bidding.

I’ve had just about enough of that attitude. It’s all up and down the line from the feds and now into the local governments. So, I have made a decision. Whenever one of these so called ” public servants” tries to shut me down, I’m going to do what that mom did and just keep talking. I’m going to keep asking questions they don’t want asked, making points they don’t want made, and pointing out the flaws in their logic.

And at some point in the discussion I’m going to say, ” Don’t dismiss me. I pay your salary. You work for ME.”

So many things right now seem impossible. Not in the physical, scientific meaning of impossible but in the human, society, and political meaning of impossible.

Aside from the fact that the Democrats seem determined to support a man they know is incapacitated, there are other things going on that are more likely to be in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

The government sends out an “army” of Community Health Workers to knock on doors and find out if people want a vaccine that does not keep one from getting a virus and doesn’t assure they won’t spread the virus to others. But, it is experimental and has killed people and left some with debilitating side effects.

The Biden Regime tells private social media companies to “flag” posts about the virus that the government deems misinformation or contrary to their mission to get people vaccinated, thus violating freedom of speech.

The same Biden Regime conspires with wireless companies to monitor people’s text messages without a warrant.

Millions of people are bullied and called “killers” because they won’t get a vaccine they don’t trust while millions of other people are let in at the southern border without vaccines or even Covid testing.

People in Cuba, Hong Kong and China protest against their tyrannical Communist governments while waving American flags while citizens of this country praise those countries and condemn ours.

The Secretary of State asks the United Nations to come in and investigate human rights abuses in the United States while ignoring the genocide in China, South Africa and other countries.

Black Americans promote teaching children that some of them are oppressors, evil and racist because of their skin color while the other children in the classroom are labled as helpless victims.

Mayors of major cities in the U.S. defund the police as murders and crime increase exponentially.

The Surgeon General of the United States promotes the villafication and segregation of some American citizens based on their vaccine status. He promotes censorship of information the government disagrees with.

A social media channel, YouTube, edits the number of likes and dislikes on White House videos to make sure no one knows how many people disapprove of what they are doing. ( You can find how they make the changes on 81m.org)

People who burned cities, were violent, and looted are not prosecuted.

The Democrat party proposes election reform that would render national elections useless because they will be fraudulent as 2020.

The once great athletic event, The Olympic Games, devolves into an event conducted in front of no one while a man is allowed to compete in weightlifting against women. Major sponsors pull out of the event after people in the host country protest.

A 12 year old appears with the 80 year old Dr. Fauci and fawns all over him in order to get people to take the vaccine. Pedo much?

The head of the military focuses more on transgender rights and critical race theory than on actually protecting this country.

And all the while, the senile President shuffles, stares blankly into space, and exhibits advanced dementia. And his party is fine with that. In fact, they seem pleased with it.

Why all this? Why is this country and the freedom of its citizens being demolished in order to install a Marxist regime?

Who Runs the World? Blackrock and Vanguard

If you think this is merely a “conspiracy theory” please stop reading. If you want to think about it a bit, continue.

What is the ultimate goal of the people running Blackrock and Vanguard? It’s not hidden. They, in the guise of the World Economic Forum and the United Nations, hope to create a manageable population for the New World Order. The fundamental principles of our country will keep them from achieving that goal, which is why they want to destroy it. Can’t have independent, freedom loving people running around gumming up the works.

So, why use Marxists to tear this country down? The answer is simple. Marxists have the destruction of societies and countries down to a science. Think of all the countries that have fallen to Marxism in the 20th century. The techniques, while altered for our country and our time, are time tested.

Once people are indoctrinated into Marxism, they are locked in for a long time. The psychological techniques are extremely successful, especially when introduced at a young age. Think about it, have you argued with a Marxist? Do they ever give you a straight, honest answer? No. They give you their rehearsed talking points over and over.

They also look at those of us who disagree as “evil” so if we must be removed or killed, it’s in the service of the bigger cause, the greater good.

And, they are not afraid to destroy anything in their way. Which is what the elites need, destruction without getting their hands or property dirty.

And, finally, Marxists are stupid. Yes, I said it. Not stupid in the way that they can’t read and do math, but stupid in that they cannot analyze or critique anything that is in opposition to their indoctrination. They believe that when this whole thing is “over” they will sit atop a world that is all rainbows and unicorn farts.

Which is not only stupid but delusional. Why would the elite billionaires give a crap about a bunch of dirty, stupid Marxists who will eventually turn on them? No, the Elites will manipulate the Marxists into some silly scenario where they will, like lemmings, walk off the cliff to their own demise. They will have fulfilled their calling as the “useful idiots.” I wonder, is that the REAL reason the Black Lives Matter Organizer bought all those homes? Is she preparing herself to sit and watch her followers die while she is safe in her fortress? Something to think about.

What will be left will be a huge underclass of controlled workers who will gladly accept the “universal income,” “free” health care, and carefully planned lives the billionaires will allow them to live.

So, the elites sit by now as the world self destructs and watch. Once it is all over, they will reform it into the world they want and they WILL sit atop it.

We can stop it. But it is going to be so hard. There is nothing so frightening to these elitists than the truth and people who are willing to stand for freedom.

In his book, American Marxism, Mark Levin spends a chapter on what we need to do NOW. If you can get a copy of this book, get is ASAP. Here are some highlights of his suggestions:

2. Education: Get involved in local education. Go to EVERY school board meeting or be part of a like minded group that goes to EVERY school board meeting. Get involved in examining instructional materials, teacher training materials, etc. These are paid for by public funds and therefore are public information. Get people to run for school board. Demand competition in education. If you can, take your kids out of government schools and either go to appropriate private schools or teach them yourself. There are SO many online resources available.

There’s so much more we need to do. But, the most important thing is that we get off our comfortable asses and do something. Find groups to align with and support. In the past few months, I have found so many like minded people in our area and we are not going down without a fight!

Mark Levin includes this quote from General George Patton at the end of his book: ” Never tell people how to do things and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.” What a great statement.

Certainly go buy Levin’s book and listen to his podcasts on Sirius Channel Patriot 125 and on other platforms. He is an amazing patriot and he will inspire you!!!!

One of the big problems in today’s society is addiction. People can be addicted to many things; alcohol, drugs, food, even sex. At least, that’s what we are told. I’m not sure all of those are addictions, but I’m not a specialist in that area, so I’ll reserve judgement.

Today I heard about a new addiction. Vaccine addiction. It was a phrase used by Dr. Marty Makary. If you want to hear an interesting take on this whole Covid mess and Dr. Fauci, look up his interview on FOX. He injects pointed questions into the ever changing opinions of Saint Fauci.

His point is that our society has moved from being sensible about vaccines to being obsessed with them, addicted, per se.

Remember, an addiction is something people feel compelled to do regardless of what it may do to them, their health, or their families. It is a physical and/or psychological need for something that is so strong that people cannot resist it.

If you think about it, we have a segment of the population that is addicted to vaccines. Not only do they feel compelled to have the vaccine themselves, but they want everyone to have it. They want a vaccine to protect them from every possible illness, variant of a virus, etc.

They didn’t get there by accident. They were pushed in that direction by the forces of government, media, and the big pharmaceutical companies. Or, as I like to call them, the vaccine cartel.

We all have heard the word cartel before. If you have ever watched the “Narcos” shows on Netflix, you know that there have been cartels in existence since the 70’s and 80’s. The top 5 are Sinaloa, out of Mexico, Medillin from Colombia, the Gulf Cartel operating out of Mexico with chapters in many other countries across the globe, the Zeta Cartel, Mexico again, and the Juarez Cartel, Mexico. These cartels make money through the production, smuggling, and sale of addictive substances from alcohol, narcotics, and synthetic marijuana to anything new on the horizon, even human trafficking. They make BILLIONS of dollars and are brutal in their violence against anyone who competes with them or stands in their way.

Their business model is simple. Get people addicted to substances and then produce, smuggle and sell those substances to the addicts through a multi-level organization that goes from the top to the low level dealer. They actively work to addict people by a variety of methods. The demand for loyalty is absolute and no one, NO ONE, dares talk about them, their product, or their methods in a negative way. At least if they want to keep their heads.

So, let’s see how this model works with the Covid Vaccine.

First, a need had to be established. By design or accident, the Covid 19 virus appeared on the horizon. Looking back, we can say that it was no more deadly than any previous flu strain. In fact, there are some who say the Swine Flu in 2009 was more dangerous. But, suddenly, the fear porn started. It was the news media first. Like the Weather Channel whenever there is a tropical low in the Atlantic, the news media talking heads talked about a pandemic ” the like of which” the world had never seen. ( A bit over the top, wouldn’t you say? Me too.) But, it being an election year and having a man they hated in the White House, the media jumped on this in collusion with the Democrats, to create a health crisis. Other countries jumped in with both feet, touting infection rates through the roof. And, of course, the drug companies created “test kits” to test for Covid 19. Nevermind that they set the sensitivity so high that anyone who had ever read the word “Covid” would test positive, they showed that this virus was spreading faster than lies in Congress.

Governors, either duped or complicit, closed down their states and mandated wearing masks everywhere, even in the shower. We were told that hospital emergency rooms were packed to the roof with patients. There weren’t enough respirators, health workers, masks, etc. At one point, Saint Anthony Fauci of the Perpetually Changing Admonitions, told everyone NOT to wear masks if they had no symptoms. The economy tanked, schools were closed, people lost jobs, and fear reigned supreme.

Some of the addicts were created then. The fear energized them, made them feel righteous and powerful, so they roamed the stores that were open and the streets, accosting and screeching at those who weren’t wearing masks or weren’t wearing them properly. They set up “Mask Offender” hotlines to report their neighbors, their friends, even their family.

And then, miraculously, the Government and Pharmaceutical Cartels jumped into action. Like any good cartel, they saw an opportunity. If they could just create a vaccine, promise it would bring things back to normal if everyone got it, and then rush it out before actually testing it, millions would buy into it, and billions, even trillions of dollars could be made.

They picked various spokespeople and convinced an addled, newly selected resident of the White House to whisper menacingly into a microphone for his citizens to “get the vaccine.” They mobilized the mask police to turn their attention to the vax deniers. And they made damn sure that anyone who went against their cartel in the news or on social media would suffer an instant and painful online removal, thereby shutting the opposition down by symbolically cutting out their tongues.

And they made darn sure they, the cartel, would not be held responsible for any deaths or harm from their vaccines. In fact, they even discounted all the problems by not acknowledging that there were any problems at all.

The government set a goal, 70% compliance by July 4th and all could return to their normal celebrations. When that didn’t happen, the cartel was not pleased. Yes, they were making huge profits, but as with many filty rich people, it is never enough.

So, the cartel upped the ante. A variant, wait, more than one variant was rumored. The government arm of the cartel sent out “Community Health Workers” ( see “pushers”) to convince people that this vaccine was the best thing since hard lemonade. They focused on the younger folk, hoping to create a lifetime dependence on vaccines to assuage their health fears. No matter if it killed, sterilized, or maimed them, there would be plenty of others who would continuously buy into the product.

The addled fool in the White House and his ginge spokesperson added subtle threats of segregation for those who didn’t participate. They told their social media office to “flag” posts that spread “misinformation” ( actual facts) about their vaccine. Many other cartel generals ran out and told everyone who didn’t get the vaccine that their lives would get harder. The CDC ( Center for Delusional Crap ) staffer cried in her interview about the horrors that would happen without the vaccine. And, of course, Saint Anthony of the Perpetually Changing Admonitions, spread the fallacies of dangers to children if they didn’t get the vaccine and told Americans who didn’t want the vaccine to “get over it.”

And Americans suddenly were vaccine addicted. Surely, they would need a vaccine for EVERY single illness, virus, germ, bacteria, bad feeling. They had to have them. They needed them. And their children needed them. Some even said their pets needed them. And those who didn’t feel that way must be stupid backwoods hicks who didn’t even have Xerox machines or Kinkos. Or just selfish. Or Trump supporters.

The Pharmacuetical Cartel leaders smiled. They had created so many new billionaires in the last year. And there were many more to come.

I remember watching the first Narcos show about Pablo Escobar. I’m sure Pablo would be extremely impressed and jealous about this joint venture between the Government and Phamaceutical Cartels. He had the government fighting him. These cartels are the government. If only he had known that sharing his profits with them would keep things going.

One other thing to note. In the drug cartels, the heads/generals of the cartel rarely use their products. Based on the fact that less than half of the CDC staff are vaccinated, neither do the Vaccine Cartel Members.

Who would you turn to if you needed to hand your life, your decisions, etc. over to someone else? It’s a question we all need to face, particularly as we get older because at some point we may have to make that decision.

I think most of us would want someone we could trust, someone who was smart, and someone who could make decisions based on experience and common sense. In my case, I would probably want my kids or my husband. I know they would make good decisions for me and in my best interest.

Shift your thinking now. Think about our government, all levels. Town, City, County, State, National. Ask yourself this question. Is there ANYONE at any of those levels that you would trust to make decisions for you if you couldn’t? Forget about party. Forget about title. Pick a person you would trust to make decisions for you. I’ll wait.

I will bet you can’t. Yet, every day, we watch people look to government to solve their problems and run their lives. And, it seems that every day, we see government take over more of those decisions. It’s gotten to the point where they are intruding on the most personal of areas, your health.

This is not what the founders intended. They had just broken away from a country where one person, the King or Queen, decided EVERYTHING in your life, including who you married, where you lived, if you were educated, EVERYTHING. The Founders wanted each person to make decisions for themselves and wanted government out of the equation. Somehow we have forgotten that.

I’m not going to go into why or how we got here. That is a history lesson that would take many volumes. I’m going to ask WHY we seem so willing to hand over all the decision making to someone in government.

Going back to the qualities that we want in someone who would have to make decisions for us, we wanted trustworthy, smart, experienced, and sensible.

I don’t know about you, but I am going to have to rack my brain to come up with someone who fits that description.

Trustworthy: When someone is trustworthy, you know they will tell you the truth. They will share information with you freely and won’t hide anything. You can be sure a trustworthy person won’t steal from you. Basically, a trustworthy person can be counted on to do the right thing.

When I was young, I thought the government, or most of it, was trustworthy. If they thought we needed to fight a war, they had a good reason and there were no other options. When we paid taxes, paid social security, we thought our money went to programs that would protect our country and to projects that were good for all of us. We thought they would keep social security there for us when we got old.

Boy was I wrong.

Our government is so out of control that we can’t even trust them to stay within their means. They overspend income and then just accrue debt like Hunter Biden in a whorehouse. Has there EVER been one politician who we could trust with our money? Sadly, no. There might have been one or two who tried to curb spending, but even they couldn’t manage the National debt and they were usually out numbered by the drunken sailors. And let’s not even talk about the Social Security lock box or the money given to illegals and those who choose not to work. When one is trying to buy votes, illegals and the perpetually lazy who are getting freebies are higher on the priority list than us old geezers who paid into Social Security all these years.

As for sending our young people to war, it seems that the trust doesn’t work there either. Although World War II was about a real threat, everything since then seems to have been about funding the military industrial complex. After all, when the elite saw how much war fueled strong economy and more riches for them, it became a simple equation. Find a “threat,” sell it to the people, send the soldiers, spend lots of money. So, all those wars started to stop Communism, to stop terrorism, to spread Democracy; all seem to be a waste of blood and treasure. No trust there.

While we are here, it’s important that you know that my father was lifetime military and spent part of his career in the Pentagon in highly classified areas. I’m sure he had to participate in those wars. I trusted my father implicitly. But he, like many soldiers, had no say in whether we went to war, he just had to make sure he protected our military and our country. I believe that many of the people that have to carry out these actions are trustworthy, good people. But they are not the ones making the decisions.

And while we are talking “trust” can we trust some of the agencies we had trusted in the past to defend our rights or give us accurate health information? FBI? NSA? CIA? CDC? NIH?( Well, maybe not the CIA. Did we ever really trust them? And maybe not the NSA. They have always been kind of shady too.)

So, eliminate trustworthy. I can’t think of ONE trustworthy individual in government, regardless of party.

Smart/Experienced: Before we talk about smart, we had better define what that means. What does it mean to be smart? Does it mean one has a high IQ? Does it mean someone has a bunch of degrees? ( I mean, seriously, DR Jill Biden? Give me an effing break.) Some of the dumbest people I know have fancy degrees. Many of these degree hoarders spend their lives in privileged atmospheres of fancy Universities, never actually working in their fields, just studying what it might be like to work in those fields. They create theories, philosophies, and societal constructs that are more fantastic than any fairy tale, and just as ineffective in real life. Somehow, these smart people end up in government positions where they can’t solve problems but are quite skilled at making problems worse and more costly. They call themselves “experts” and yet it seems like they can never solve one single problem in their field. Why? Because they have never actually had a single day of work in that field. I can think of so many examples in power now. I know you can too. (By the way, the king of all examples of a “smart person” who can’t think his way out of a paper bag is our appointed current resident of the White House. )

Eliminate smart and experienced because the only thing these people are smart and experienced in is how to cover their ass and/or get re-elected.

Sensible: Surely, the people we elect to make decisions for us are sensible, right? They know what is practical and what is not, right? Certainly the people in government agencies are level headed and practical. They don’t think up crazy stuff, right? (I don’t know about you, but I can’t even type that without laughing and shaking my head.) I mean, they don’t send billions to a country that has sworn to wipe us off the face of the earth and is the number one sponsor of terrorism, do they? They don’t let millions of illegals in at the southern border while we have so many who live in poverty here? They don’t turn away true refugees from a Communist dicatorship just because they want freedom and not freebies and many not vote the way they want?They don’t harass our population to get an untested, unapproved, dangerous vaccine while we allow untested, unvaccinated people in at the border? They don’t spend so far above what we take in that we will be paying it off for generations, if ever?

And, they certainly don’t work to get rid of the police and law enforcement, the real ones not the swampy deep state critters, who protect us, do they?

None of that would be sensible. Or smart for that matter. And it is exactly what they do.

So, with all this being said, why do so many people think that those in government are so smart that they can tell us how to live our lives, how to raise our children, what medical treatment to get, and what to say online?

You know why? Because at the end of the day, we, the people, have just gotten lazy. We have let them take over these parts of our lives. We have allowed government to grow beyond what it was intended. And somehow we think they know and want what is best for us. As Mark Levin says, it is a Leviathan. And it has one interest. Self interest.

But, for some, if the government just keeps sending the checks, the government can tell them what to do.

We have forgotten that they serve with the “consent of the people. ” Maybe it’s time we remembered that and help them remember too. Show up at meetings. Read what they write. Know which bills they pass. Know your rights. Participate.

Because frankly, I wouldn’t trust most of these people to water my plants, much less make decisions for me. They are not trustworthy, smart, experienced or sensible. Actually, most of them are straight up losers. And they’ve got to get out of our lives.

Now that parents have seen what is going on in their child’s classroom day to day and the indoctrination that is occurring, they are mobilizing and fighting against it. But, I wonder if they all understand that this is a war for the minds and hearts of our children and our people. And, the other side is well prepared for war with drastic tactics.

All you have to do is look at the battle going on right now in Northern Virginia. When parents made their opinions known and public, they were attacked. Their names, addresses and the names and schools of thier childdren were published to various left wing groups who would be able to attack them. The Board itself started limiting the ability of the people to speak in open meetings, even resorting to ending meetings early and having people arrested. Parents were called racists, white supremacists, etc. even if they were not white.

Don’t think it can happen in your district? Think again. If you go back twenty or even just ten years, Virginia, even Northern Virginia, was Conservative. But, even more important, it was a state where people lived and worked side by side and got along. Somehow it has now turned into a blue hotbed of radical leftist, Marxist activists. Marxism is a weed that spreads and grows everywhere, choking out anything in its way.

Let’s get back to where you live. If you are in a group that is fighting this menace in your school, you need to be prepared for the guerilla tactics of the left. They will involve camoflauge and lies, economic bullying, and scathing personal attacks and character assassination. It will be more bloody than the battle between Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades. ( Look it up, they are characters in the show “Billions.”)

Camoflauge, Denial and Lies : This is the first attack the left will use and is currently using against those who are fighting CRT or “Critical Race Theory.” School systems are very adept at this. They work hard to find palatable names for controversial programs in an effort to fool the public. For example, schools used to have ” sex education” classes for students. But, when some parents objected to this and pulled their kids out of the classes, educators changed the name of those classes to “Health.” You see, including the word “sex” in the name of the class caused problems, but who can object to a class called ” Health?” Don’t we like health, want to be healthy and want our children to be healthy? Who wouldn’t want our kids to learn that? And, since parents didn’t realize that part of the class could be about how to have oral or anal sex, few complained. Those who did were given permission to exclude their children from certain lessons. But, most students remained.

They are already hiding racist CRT and 1619 initiatives under much friendlier sounding names. Staff will tell you that they are teaching inclusion, acceptance, different perspectives, diverse viewpoints, etc. often paired with the word “equity” to make it seem like it’s equality. So, you may see “History from Diverse Viewpoints,” or “Multicultural Literature.” To be sure, neither of these will include all viewpoints or cultures, and often will actively exclude White or European groups.

Administrators will actively lie to you. Here’s an answer from a Board of Education member when he was asked about CTR/1619 in his school district. Notice how he reacts and deflects: “We do not teach CRT. It’s actually a grad class in college read the college text. Teachers for each subject in our county are all given a curriculum to follow Emotions are politically very high. Try not to let the media cherry pick ideas to create fear and anger Our curriculum is reviewed by committee and piloted and reviewed again for the most part .”

Once you get past the fact that the ideas are presented in a jumbled mess of unclear phrases, the phrases in bold stand out. Let’s deconstruct his comments. First, he says they don’t teach CRT. The fact that he uses that name shows me that he was primed to say that, but he doesn’t really know what he is talking about. He just knows people are angry about it.

He follows that up with something a lawyer told him to say because it is the one thing he can defend. He tells us that teachers have been given a curriculum to follow. He never says they all follow it. He doesn’t know if they do or not.

The next statement is where the Board member says what amounts to a ” pat on the head” as he dismisses this whole thing as just emotional political stuff that the media has created by ” cherry picking” incidents. In other words, “Don’t worry your pretty little head about it. It’s not anything. “

He ends with the absolution of his accountability for anything that is taught because it is all reviewed by a committee and piloted. I love the ” for the most part” at the end. Like Pilate with Jesus, he washes his hands of the whole thing.

Another way administrators will get you out of their face is to deflect with a comment like, “We are concerned that all of our students feel accepted by others. We don’t want to hurt any child. ” With that statement, they hope you will see their wonderful intentions and walk away. Don’t be fooled.

Promoters of CRT will go on CNN, MSNBC, etc. and when the interviewer asks about the outrage being expressed about it, will chuckle that lovely superior liberal chuckle and say the whole thing is about “white fragility,” “white rage,” and misunderstanding of the purpose of it. It’s just about teaching history, you nutty white supremacists.

Economic and Social Bullying: This is the fun part where the Teachers’ Unions and various other CRT shill groups get involved. Many people think of the Teachers’ Unions as these benign, quasi-PTA like groups of old gray haired ladies who just want to make sure kids are educated and teachers are treated fairly. Just because the upper echelons of the teachers’ unions don’t climb around on steel or build cars doesn’t mean they don’t use coercion and intimidation to get what they want. Gray haired ladies can be thugs too.

Many people tell me that they can’t imagine the unions would support CRT. What you must remember is that the Teachers’ Unions are as militant supporters of the Democrats/Marxists that you will find in this country. They like money and power just as much as the UAW or any other union. And the Democrats take care of them with grants, laws that favor them, etc. In turn, the teachers’ unions deliver votes.

Please don’t confuse the unions with the teachers. In reality, most teachers have little or nothing to do with the unions other than having their dues taken out of their pay. In fact, if teachers weren’t convinced that the unions will protect their jobs if things go bad, I would say 75% of them would not join.

The teachers’ unions are bullies and they are fully behind this travesty being taught in our schools. They will threaten members to keep quiet and will threaten parents and school board members that go against it with both economic and social harm. Maybe even physical. In Northern Virginia, the teachers’ union “doxed” parents who spoke out against CRT. They harassed them and their children. One child was bullied at school over it and was eventually physically attacked, all because her identity and the identity of her mom was released to the public. Unions are stalking dissenters in person and online. Some people had their cars and homes defaced with foul names.

Oh, but we are a small county, it can’t happen here. Yes. It can. Remember that Union operatives can be called to action in a second. They can be organized, paid, and transported to your county. The unions have money. Tons of money.

And I haven’t even spoken about groups like Black Lives Matter or Antifa or the losers who will pretend to be them. Remember, the Marxists want it all and they want us out of the way, by any means necessary.

Personal Attacks and Character Assassination: The hardest thing to deal with as we fight for our kids will be this last one. If you have ever stated a personal opinion on Facebook that disagreed with that little Marxist down the street, you have experienced the vitriol of the left. I have been called various names, including racist, psychopath, and many others that I dare not put in print because they are so filthy. Marxists are great at name calling, particularly when they know their arguments are weak.

You will get called names. Some are already calling you names, you just don’t know they are talking about you. CNN, MSNBC, and the other mainstream media outlets are saying that ANYONE opposing CRT is a White Supremacist Conspiracy Theorist fueled by White fragility and rage. At least, that’s as of yesterday. Give it a few more days and we will be Nazis and puppy killers. It will be hard to take. And, you will have to take it, because to do anything in retribution will hurt our efforts. And, as I told someone today, to say that you are not a racist, in the minds of the CRT crowd, proves you are a racist.

This will be mild compared to the next tactic. If you have anyone who doesn’t like you, if you have ever had a speeding ticket, if you ever posted anything on Facebook that got you banned, picked your nose in public, or if you have done ANYTHING wrong in your lifetime, it will be found out. They will find that person who hates you and ask them about you. They will take what they say, magnify it, and use it in public. The speeding ticket will become a criminal act. That post on Facebook will be shared as a sample of your instability. Picking your nose in public, well you know what will happen with that. It will almost be like you are running for President and your name is Trump.

They will prey on your weakness. So, shields up!

We have facts on our side. And the facts are that this is a racist agenda that segregates different races and makes them hate each other. Most people won’t tolerate that. Most Americans believe that we are a good, fair, country that has made mistakes but worked to fix them.

But, you have to have more than that. So, here are some tips:

1. If you can’t fix it, feature it. Whichever flaws you have, the Marxists will try to use them against you. Pre-empt them by making those flaws a strength and something you are not afraid of. Remember this famous line from Reagan when asked about his advanced age in the Presidential debate against Mondale:”I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience.” It was a winner, for sure.
2. Act now but prepare for down the line. Remember that wars are not won in one battle. And, like in war, you need to prepare for more than just what is happening now. Think about what your opponent will do five steps ahead. It’s like playing chess. Anticipate what THEY will do and what YOU will do.
3. Identify where you are vulnerable. Most people don’t mind if people attack them, but someone who wants to hurt you will focus on your most precious family, your children, etc. Be prepared to protect them. President Trump knew that his son Barron would be a target. He took great pains to get him out of the limelight. It didn’t always work, but for the most part Barron was kept out of the dirty political fray.
4. Electronically monitor your home, your car, etc. Install cameras and alarm units on your property. Have a dash cam in your car. Place NO TRESPASSING signs on your property.
5. Get a VPN on your computer so you can access the internet without being tracked. It doesn’t always work, but it will help you.
6. Make sure you know who you are talking to and never say anything to anyone that you don’t want shared to everyone.
7. Keep all written communication with any public officials. If you meet with administrators, ask if you can record the conversation. If you can, great. Sometimes they won’t agree to it, but that shows you they might be afraid of something.
8. Have a lawyer you can call in a pinch.
9. Be prepared to defend any licenses you have. HQL’s, CC permits, business licenses, etc. could be something people will try to go after. Remember that red flag laws can be used against ANYONE.
10. Get to know your neighbors. The more you know someone, the more likely they will be to defend you if need be.
11. Know your true friends but be prepared to lose some friends. I can’t tell you how many former “friends” are no longer friends with me because I supported Trump. You need people by your side that you can trust.
12. Know your local law enforcement and established a positive relationship with them. You may need them if you are attacked.
13. Keep your emotions in check. I know it’s hard. I get so angry with people sometimes. But, they will poke you until you act. Let them be the aggressor, the asshole.
14. Talk to people on the other side IF YOU CAN and they are reasonable and will share their thoughts rationally. ( Don’t expect much of this because many Marxists are driven by slogans and talking points.)
15. Take race out of the CRT equation. For example, ask people if ANY child should be told they are anoppressor or oppressed. I know it sound counter intuitive, but this truthfully is about all children, not just certain races.
16. Always ask for proof when they make allegations. Ask more questions than you answer.
17. Read all the materials advocating the approach you are fighting and learn to not only debunk them but to break the code words they are using. Research the origins of certain phrases to see their true meaning.
18. Learn how to defend yourself physically. I’ll just leave that there.
19. Never trust the government to tell you the full truth. You may get partial truths or outright lies. Use the Freedom of Information laws in your state to get information.
20. The media is not your friend. If you can avoid them, do so. If you can’t make sure everything you say is short, to the point, and something you don’t mind having in print.
21. Anticipate. The safest drivers are those who can anticipate problems. If I am anticipating that deer will run across the road, I will be prepared to avoid them if I can.
22. There’s a saying, “Liars gonna Lie.” Its meaning is fairly obvious, but it reminds us that we shouldn’t expect a person who has displayed certain character traits will suddenly change their actions for you.

I’m not trying to scare or discourage you, but I want people to know what we are up against. This is a rabid, well oiled machine poised to squelch any dissent. That doesn’t mean we run away and hide. It just means we have be smart in our fight.

Remember this:

Yes, It is a privilege.

It’s a privilege to fight for our freedom.

It’s a privilege to fight for our children.

It’s a privilege to fight against the evil of totalitarian Marxism.

It’s a privilege to fight for our way of life against overwhelming odds.

You may think it’s crazy to say that. Think of it this way. Who do we honor? While we respect all Americans for the role they have played in the greatness of our country, we honor those who had the biggest sacrifices, the toughest battles, took the biggest risk knowing they could lose it all.

While we may not have to battle in the arena of bullets and bombs, we still have a battle that can steal our lives and freedoms. And we are facing an enemy so vicious, so destructive that they are willing to tear a country apart. We could lose it all. But I don’t think so. Because they don’t have what we have; love, faith, and a belief in liberty so strong that we consider it a privilege to fight for it. And all they believe in is control, fear, and death. And you can’t defeat the human spirit with those.

Privilege.

The privilege of an American fighting for our country and every freedom loving citizen that lives here.

I was watching a video of Georgetown University students the other day as they were asked if they were proud of our country. If they said “no,” they were asked if they could name a better country. Of course, the elite, mostly white, indoctrinated students said they were NOT proud of our country because of racism, colonialism, blah, blah, blah, the whole gamut of Marxist talking points. But then when they were asked to name a better country all of them struggled. In fact, the reporter asked them which country they would move to. Most of them were like, “Oooooo…I have no idea. ” There was one doofus who said he’d like to go to a country where the population lived in poverty. Yeah, he was that dumb. I guess he thought he’d be able to live in great accommodations, keep his iPhone, and get food and sanitary bathroom facilities there. But, he couldn’t name a country. Just a generic poor country. Wow, talk about being an idiot.

So, I thought back to when I was there age attending Frostburg State College. Was I that stupid? I must admit, I wasn’t a Conservative during that time. In fact, I would say I probably supported more liberal causes.

You know when I got my wake up call? I got it when I had to make it on my own. When I had to get my own job, pay my own bills, support myself in my own apartment. It’s then when I realized that no one was going to take care of me, I had to take care of myself. It’s not like my parents weren’t around, but I didn’t live with them and they didn’t financially support me. Suddenly all the liberal clap trap didn’t work any more. I became a Conservative REAL fast when I realized that those taxes reduced MY paycheck and went to people who didn’t work. I discovered that there are people out there who manipulated the system and lived more comfortably that I did.

I also realized that I was lucky to live in a country where I could go where I wanted, say what I wanted, and control my own destiny. I was so darned happy and proud to be American.

So, why don’t these young adults get that? First of all, the Georgetown student population is being indoctrinated EVERY SINGLE DAY. Many of them come from families who are well off and these students are being made to feel guilty for their skin color and their station in life. More important, these kids are virtually ignorant of History, Geography, and almost all other important content. They can probably recite the names of criminals shot by Cops, how many different sexes there are, and all the reasons they should hate Donald Trump, but little more than that. They hate individualism and crave collectivism. In short, they really do hate America and have a fantasy filled vision of how life should be.

Second, how many of these students have had to actually live on their own and support themselves? There are jobs out there, but many of them turn their noses up at hard work and any entry level salary they could get for a job. In fact, many come into interviews expecting to get the salary that an experienced employee of that company should get. Mommy and Daddy have allowed them to live at home, have paid their bills, and have made sure there has been no adversity in their lives. Therefore, they don’t appreciate this country because they have not earned the self respect of being on one’s own and being accountable their living condition. And they have not had the discipline of doing what needs to be done to support one’s self.

And many of them have not experienced or even been made aware of the stark reality of other countries, where if you don’t take care of yourself, you might die. Where speaking out against your country might put you in jail.

Let’s remember that the higher education industry is well aware that the young people on their campuses are virtually prisoners to the propaganda spewed by professors. They are separated from their families. They are surrounded by other young people separated from their families. They are still young enough to want to rebel against their parents and to think they are smarter than any adult. Their grades depend on them conforming to the beliefs of their teachers. At least in high school, a student returns home to his family every day and possibly can be influenced by them.

In short, they are perfect fodder for dictators. And their parents are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for that. Unless, of course, they got a federal loan to go to the school they couldn’t afford. In that case, the student will either pay that off for years or some candidate will excuse that debt. Either way, the Universities make out like thieves. They have guaranteed money, can steer students toward any stupid major they want to make sure their overpaid activist professors have jobs. They can even require students to take basic indoctrination classes to make sure they know the Marxist values. All while knowing that many of these students will not have skills to find decent paying jobs when they graduate.

They create an ignorant, dissatisfied population who will promote their Marxist agendas after graduation.

Happily, I have met some young people recently who don’t fit this mold. One of them was the salesman that sold me my new car. He found himself out of a full time job because of Covid and instead of sitting around collecting unemployment, went out and go another job. I would love to shake his parent’s hands and say, “Well done.” I told him, “we need more people like you in this world.”

The other young man works at my local grocery store. This guy is there almost every time I go. He is always working, even taking on extra hours currently. You know why he has to do that? Because the grocery store can’t compete with the government money given to people who just want to stay home. People apply, get the job, come a day or two, and then decide they would rather earn money for nothing. Thankfully, we have young people like him in our world who want to work to support themselves. He and I talked about that and he said he couldn’t imagine not working so he could support himself. I told him, ” We need more people like you in this world.”

The last person I will use as a positive example is a young man I have known since he was in first grade. He was always quiet and always a hard worker. He now owns his own business and I see him every week with his crew in my neighborhood. He will never have to depend on anyone else and will never sit home and take the extra money just because he can. And he is a happy, well adjusted young person. I tell him, “We need more people like you in this world. “

They are out there. And I think they are more prevalant than we think.

A word of advice to parents. Stop sending your kids to expensive four year schools just because that’s what they want or because you want to brag at your cocktail parties. If your child tells you they want to major in some BS social degree, don’t fund it. Tell them no.

Even better, send them to a two year college to get a skill, like welding or auto mechanics, or any manual skill you can think of that will allow them to get a job after two years if they want. Then, when they graduate, they can either start working or they can finish their last two years in a four year school that they and you can afford to pay for together or that they get scholarship money for.

So many of my most successful former students have done that.

Stop sending money to people who will teach your kid how to be a non-productive drain on society who will hate this country and you.

My formula is: The more expensive the college, the fewer marketable, practical skills your kid will learn. The more politicians, lawyers, etc. that have come out of a school, the more radicalized your child will be.

Stop wasting your money on designer indoctrination factories and more on helping your child get a true and valuable profession.

While most of us were busy raising children, working every day, and making sure we could pay our bills, a funny thing happened. Someone started stealing our country from us.

At first it was little things. Political correctness. Government growing and overtaking responsibilies that were not theirs. Changes in education due to mass testing and crazy educational theories. We saw these things, but every time we just sighed and knew things would get better or that this wasn’t that big of a deal. After all, even though we didn’t necessarily agree with our government officials, we thought they still valued freedom over power. That was a mistake.

Until, all of sudden, we found ourselves sitting with the loaded gun of Marxism staring us in the face while large, rabid crowds of Soros funded Communists run over our rights in the background. We’ve had our wake up call.

But it’s more than just a wake up call to complain, or retreat into our own homes to stay safe. It’s a wake up call to step up and take action, the kind of action most of us have never taken.

There’s a group in California called “Red, White and Blueprint” that is a great example of people seeing the danger and coming out of their sleep to confront their local government officials. For them, it was the Covid Lockdowns in their home, Shasta County, and the enforcement by officials. And of course, they discovered, like most of us, what a scam this whole thing was. When they addressed it with their county officials, they were immediately and completely shut down. The suddenly realized that their government officials no longer viewed them, the citizens, as their bosses. These officials were taking power and money hand over fist. The citizens got activated and started a recall. It’s a fascinating story that unfolds in videos periodically.

The person who really struck a chord with me was a mom who started looking into everything for the recall. Her quote, I’m paraphrasing, was, ” I never wanted to get involved in politics. But now I see I have to in order to save my county and my country. “

That’s how I feel. I have started on a new mission to save our children from an insidious, dangerous philosophy being taught in our schools, Critical Race Theory. I have a previous blog post entitled, “Fighting Critical Race Theory at the Local Level,” published on May 8, 2021.

I’m not alone. There are many of us who see this for what it is, a way to divide our children into racial groups, a way to indoctrinate children into the belief that some of them are scapegoats for racism, and some of them are perpetual victims. All because of their skin color. It is the Marxist way of creating a whole new generation of ignorant, helpless, hopeless people who will believe whatever government says. It makes them easier to control.

I’m sure you are asking why any American would ever want this. Well, in a meeting last night a wonderful, courageous warrior woman, Gordana Schifanelli, shared with a group of the Mid Shore Republican Women how these Marxists think. Again, I am paraphrasing. She said that these people are rabid. They really don’t want anyone to have freedom. They think the government IS smarter and better than us and needs to make decisions for all of us. They don’t want people to be independent. They hate individualism. They need to get rid of anyone who disagrees. And, yes, even if they have to kill us. She ought to know. She is from Yugoslavia, which has had more than its share of totalitarian government.

She also said the parallels here are frightening. ” You don’t think it can happen here?”she asked. ” It already is and they have a head start on us.”

That is staggering.

But, she is proof that we can overcome this cult of oppression and control. She and her husband were fed up with the Covid 19 closings of schools as well as the implementation of Black Lives Matter and CRT being undertaken by the county Superintendent. So, they got four candidates to run for the school board in her county. They missed the filing deadline so all had to be write in votes. They knocked on doors, they sent fliers, were a presence everywhere. And, believe me, Gordana is a presence!

The candidates were strong people, unafraid of fighting the teachers’ union and other forces. They fired the Superintendent, hired a new one, and turned their schools around. Their schools opened completely in January 2021 with no masks. They have taken CRT out of their curriculum and have even instituted a “Patriotism Week” in all their schools in September.

It hasn’t been without a cost. Gordana and her husband Marc have been called horrible names, been threatened, and Gordana had someone try to get her fired. But, she said to us last night in her wonderful Yugoslavian accent, ” I don’t care. I have to save the kids. “

Now she is bringing all Maryland counties together so we are all on the same page. Her points of emphasis?

• No politics in schools
• No medical experiments with kids
• In person learning
• No masks on kids
• No BLM ( and CRT) Curriculum
• More Trade Schools for non college bound kids.

Gordana is an immigrant. She is a lawyer. She and Marc have three boys. His 22 years as an U.S. Army Special Forces soldier and officer should help with that!!! He is also a lawyer.

So, back to me and to the members of our group that met last night. We aren’t going to sit around and stay in the background anymore. We are going to stand up, speak up, and make change. They are going to try to intimidate us, shut us down, and hurt us.

But this is the future of our children, our grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and all the children who deserve a free life in the United States of America. We are their last, best hope.

This is how they view our flag, our country and us. And, this is not just Whites they hate, they hate Blacks who fly our flag, Hispanics, anyone. And, trust me, there are teachers in our schools who feel the same way.

You may remember that I wrote the other day about asking a question regarding the placement of American flags in our town. I asked why all homes didn’t get flags since that is what had been done in the past. It seemed that some areas of the town were prioritized.

Immediately I was called a “divider” and was accused of several other obnoxious conspiracy theory motives by some rich guy who moved here from California and who now lives in a million dollar home a half mile away from me. How dare I question his placement of flags done at night with “his boys.”

Other people told me there was a shortage of flags, but yet some of the homes in town had four or five flags placed in their yards while many of us in the less traveled areas had none. Again, I asked a question. I wasn’t the only one, but I put it in writing. I do that a lot.

Curious thing is that the day after I asked, flags started cropping up on streets all over the general neighborhood where I lived. All except my street of course. To be fair, I don’t know if those people went out and got their own flags. And, I have my own flags, three to be exact, that I have had for a while. So, maybe it’s just a coincidence.

But then today something happened that hasn’t happened in over a year. I had kept my Trump 2020 sign up in my yard. Why, you ask? Partially because I wanted to show my continued support of him and partly because I knew that people wanted to force me to take it down and they couldn’t. It was a blow for my free speech. My husband even suggested I get a Trump 2024 sign, but I just didn’t.

Today I discovered that my Trump 2020 sign was gone. Taken. Stolen. It was done last night, in the dark, sort of like when all those flags were supposedly planted in people’s yards. Huh. Another coincidence. Two in three days.

Perhaps it was someone coming home drunk from a bar who just wanted to be an asshole. Maybe it was one of those trust fund babies who come down on weekends and hang out in granny and grandpa’s pool. You know, the ones from those expensive Eastern Elite schools where the professors teach ” Hate America at all Costs.” Or maybe it was just someone who had his/her panties in a twist because I challenged them online or they hate Trump and Trump followers. I don’t know. I’ll reserve judgement, although I do have a security camera that records at night. Anyway…

If it was their intent to shut me up or shut me down, it was a total failure. I’m one of those contrarian people who actually gets energized by things like this.

I decided to “one up” these morons. My husband, who is as non-political as they come, helped me put up one of my Trump flags. We put it on the limb of a tree. It’s actually an upgrade because it is much more visible and it has the phrase “No More Bullshit” on it. He even said, ” You should thank the person because this is so much better.” He’s right. It’s so much more visible. And I have more of them. (Picture above)

But, two things. One is that in the 40 years I have lived in this town, I have seen it change so much. My husband has lived here his whole life, even before indoor plumbing was available. He says the same. It used to be a friendly town, a town where you could say what you thought and people would disagree or not, and then life went on. We greeted each other if we saw each other in town, waved at each other, and made sure everyone felt at home. It’s not that way anymore. When I run or walk my dog in the morning, I wave at everyone, even if I know you disagree with me politically. Most people wave back. I speak to those who walk, run, or ride by. Most people respond back. But, there’s a group that won’t wave, won’t respond if you have the “wrong” shirt on or if they just don’t recognize you.

Maybe it’s social media causing the problem. I think that is part of it, but I also think that it may be the nature of the people that have fled their expensive and violent cities to come here. Some of them are great and fit right in, like the lady down the street from me. She and I talk often and she is so down to earth. They came here for what this town has been, not to make it some elite homeowner’s association. The rest want to control the town and all its residents and make it into the image of what they left, only with them in charge. CaliOxford. DistrictofOxford. NewOxford.

They hope they can eventually price us out and make every home a million dollar mansion. Again, it’s not all of them, but it is some of them. And it is also some of those who have lived here long term. As one of them said once, ” If you can’t afford to pay the taxes on your home you shouldn’t live here.” And that person is a LIBERAL BIDEN SUPPORTER.

Anyway, the town has changed, and not for the better. Thank God for the few hold outs who still live here!

The second point is that these jerks expect to intimidate us. They expect to shut us up, shut us down. They think a few names will quiet us. Believe me, I’ve been called everything for my opinions, they are just words. I had a lady yesterday whose name is Grace who got upset with me because she had posted a comment that she wanted Tucker Carlson removed from televison because she doesn’t like him or his opinions. When I called her on that and said that perhaps she would prefer not to hear the truth, she clutched her pearls and typed a comment that she was not political, that I shouldn’t comment on her opinion, and that she knew my viewpoints and could easily comment on them. Wow. I actually DID laugh out loud.

I guess she thought I would run screaming away saying, “oh please don’t comment on my opinions.” I don’t think she understands that I post my opinions knowing people will see them and comment on them. I told her that. Then she told me some other nonsense and told me not to reply because she didn’t want to get in a “pissing match.”

Um. Someone tell Grace that’s not how it works.

At any rate, whether they think they can silence you by the theft of a sign, calling you names, or clutching their pearls and telling you not to reply to them, we can’t let them get away with it. It’s going to get ugly and rough. But we can’t stand down. Like Lt. Governor Robinson of North Carolina says, “Start some trouble.”

We have to, even in our small towns. It’s what the founders did, except they fully expected to lose their lives. We aren’t there yet.

But if we don’t stand up, we could get there.

Nature hates a vacuum. So do people. I have discovered in my profession as a teacher and administrator in the public schools that if you don’t give people information, they will make it up or, even worse, someone will teach them lies.

And that is what has happened with our young people. We didn’t focus on teaching them the whole and true history of our country, so someone came in and taught them lies. Or, they left huge holes in their knowledge and the kids made up their own incorrect information.

As an administrator in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, I realized that teaching History and Social Studies in general was not a priority in most school systems. Of course, children must be taught reading, writing, and math. But with so much other content and so many useless activities taking up the daily school day, Social Studies was pushed off in the corner to be taught whenever there might be time, which there never was. And, since Social Studies materials were also hard to come by, teachers shied away from teaching history, geography, and government. Even when history was taught in high school, it was pared down to survey courses that attempted to teach the history of the world and our country in a semester. It sure didn’t allow for much depth of knowledge. It was a mile wide and an inch deep.

Into that gap crawled the Marxists. First, they stated that students didn’t really need to know dates and names. So, schools cut that out. Then they stated that the history of “old, white men” didn’t resonate with the current generations. So, schools cut that out too. They boiled social studies and government down to a jumble of disjointed events and ideas which mostly centered on the ills of our country, the misdeeds of White people and the suffering of certain populations.

Of course, I realize that our country has not always been perfect, and some of our people have committed horrible injustices against certain ethnic groups. To ignore that would be educational malpractice. But, on the other side of that, our country has worked hard to correct injustice, to assure the equality of all races and genders, to help people achieve their dreams. Many of our citizens have. To ignore that is also educational malpractice. It’s like focusing on a small mole on the cheek of a beautiful woman and calling her ugly for it.

But that is what we have done. And now we are seeing the result of this neglect.

As you read the modern media regarding the beginning of our country, you’ll hear some bullshit about how our country started in 1619 with the first slaves in this country. You’ll hear about how our country was built solely on the back of slaves. You’ll hear that our founding fathers were racists and sexists and that this is all that matters. Funny thing is, the woman who created the 1619 project has said that the whole project wasn’t about truth and facts, but feelings and interpretations. That would be like studying horticulture without studying the facts about how plants grow and then creating a substance that you “feel” might help them grow better.

Ever seen “Idiocracy”? Think Brawndo. The main character, Joe, an average man who has traveled to the future, is considered a genius because the people of the future are so stupid. He gets into a conversation with his cabinet ( Joe has been elected President) about why the crops in the future are dying. He tells them that he’s pretty sure that the stuff they are putting on the crops, Brawndo, is what is killing them. His Secretary of State says, ” But Brawndo’s got what plants crave. It’s got electrolytes. ” Brawndo had a great corporate messaging plan.

Joe tells them they need to put water on the plants. His cabinet is shocked and one asks, ” Water? Like out the toilet?” Joe tells them it doesn’t have to be out of the toilet, but yes, water is what he is talking about. He tries to convince them that Brawndo isn’t working and they should try water. His Secretary of Energy says, “Well I’ve never seen no plants grow out of no toilet.”

They go on through circular reasoning that proves they don’t even know what electrolytes are or why they use them. When asked, the cabinet members always reply, “It’s what they use to make Brawndo.”

You see, the people of the future are so stupid that they don’t even know basic biology and fall for the idea that a substance that is actually killing the plants is helping them. They FEEL it is right, so they constantly argue for it. No facts. No logic. Just feelings and mis-guided beliefs.

And that is where we are with the teaching of History in our schools. Instead of teaching actual History, we have trained our children in feelings and mis-guided beliefs about our country and our people.

And what we get is this. We get a Congresswoman, Cori Bush, a Black woman who has been elected to an important office, who uses the liberty that our forefathers and generations before her fought and died for to speak freely, and who has been well compensated financially as a congresswoman, saying this on July 4th: ” When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people. ( notice white is not capitalized) This land is stolen land and Black people are still not free.”

Huh. That’s weird. Because if Black people aren’t free, how is she a Congresswoman? Why is she speaking in front of other free Black people? Why are there so many Black people who have taken advantage of freedom and become successful? Obama, Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson, Condaleeza Rice, etc.? She got slammed on Twitter by Black and White people for those comments. You know what, she knows what she said is wrong.

Problem is, her presentation of the way things are will resonate with some people who don’t know the facts of history. For example, the graphic below was posted by the same young Black man who I wrote about earlier this year. His name is Danny and he posted this on Facebook on Memorial Day:

” As a black man it’s hard to celebrate any of these American holidays there’s to (sic) much bad history.”

And then he posted this yesterday :

You see what is happening here? Danny, who was a student in the public schools in our area, who is a nice young man, has implied in his Tweet on Memorial Day that first, he is not counting himself as an American and second that our country has done more bad than good. In the picture he posted, the implication is clear. July 4th is NOT Independence Day for him, as a Black man, but rather it is just 15 days after what he considers his true Independence Day, Juneteenth.

Like I said, he is a nice, young Black man who I know has a job, who works with people of all races teaching his athletic passion, and he doesn’t see himself as an American because our country is so evil. Who is telling him this? I think I know, but it really doesn’t matter because the person who is telling him this garbage, like Cori Bush, is exploiting the fact that he and other young people of all races have not learned the facts and truths of history. So they are ripe for the taking and are buying into a narrative that is not only false but damaging to him and to the rest of us. They are not stupid, they are vulnerable to liars.

We let this happen. I let this happen. So did you. We didn’t notice that our children were being denied the teaching of real, actual History. We didn’t notice that the people who want to destroy our country replaced it with garbage and lies. We trusted the State Department of Education, the school systems, and the teachers*. And we let them whittle away at the time we spent teaching actual history and give that time to such nonsense as “values clarification” and the various “issues of the day” which were created because of some whim by a politician.

And now we have to fight to change things. We have to fight Marxist programs such as the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory in our schools. We have to fight to teach the truth. And that is ALL of us, of all races. We need to teach our children American History as a total picture and not just the cherry picked sins of the past. And we need to show them that we are one of the only countries in the world that works to correct our flaws rather than ignore them. We also need to show them that if many of our citizens lived in a totalitarian society such as in China, they would have NO rights and would probably be dead. I applaud Texas for mandating that their students are taught the true horrors of Communism.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to ” unteach” that which has been taught and indoctrinated. It usually requires that the student has a rude awakening and realizes how he/she has been misled. But, if we start with our young children and counteract the lies being taught, even if we have to do it through teaching it ourselves, and we keep exposing our older students to what the truth is, we may have a chance. But it has to start now.

I promise you I will do my part by helping others create a plan to fight CRT and to monitor that our schools don’t sneak it in and that they teach the TRUTH. I will not be silenced nor shut down.

I watched the series ” Sons of Liberty” yesterday on the History Channel. It is about Sam Adams and the rest of the revolutionaries who risked their lives to create a new country that would not be dominated by Kings and the societal elites. We forget how precarious it was for them to do that. And we can’t let their efforts go to waste.

(SIDE NOTE)*In defense of the teachers I worked with for the two years I was Social Studies Specialist in my system, they worked with me to make sure students got a true and accurate understanding of American and World History. But, when your job depends on you teaching what the state tells you to teach, it’s tough. And, as is true so many times, some of the younger ones hadn’t been taught the truth in college. You can’t teach what you don’t know.

Sometimes it’s not the action of the person but the manner in which they react to your questions about it.

I did something horrible yesterday. I asked a question. I thought it was a simple question, an innocuous one. Several people I know in my area asked the same question. But I dared to ask it on Facebook in a group dedicated to my town.

It’s going to sound silly to you because you haven’t lived where I live for over 40 years. But, considering the way our town is evolving, I had to ask it.

See, every year on the 4th of July, American flags were put out on the lawn of every home in town. It was always a nice touch right before the fireworks display that occurred on or before the 4th. This was a way of promoting patriotism and community among all areas, all economic levels, etc.

Yesterday, during my morning walk, I noticed that some homes got flags and some didn’t. The flags were placed in the yards of those on the main road into town and on roads that led to the main restaurants. In other words, in the wealthier sections of town. And, it wasn’t just one flag per yard, it was many flags in those yards. I thought it was weird, but then several others in my area asked about it. It seemed the placement of the flags stopped once a certain imaginary line was crossed. So, I asked about it on Facebook in a citizen’s group for my town.

I was told it was a supply chain issue and they didn’t get as many flags as they thought, so they were unable to place a flag in every yard. I commented that it appeared that they only placed flags in areas tourists would pass through. I said it was a shame. ( Side note, it seems there might have been enough flags for everyone in town had they only placed one per house. I know, common sense. I need to stop that.)

There were the usual mild responses. Some people had their own flags and didn’t need one ( which, by the way, I do.) But one gentleman, who lives in a different part of town in a million dollar home really got angry. He immediately pointed out that I was trying to claim victimization, that I was trying to divide our town, that I was promoting a “deep state” theory and that it was part of our town disregarding another part of town. He claimed that he and ” his boys,” whoever they are, placed those flags at NIGHT for goodness sake and that they did that as volunteers and HOW DARE I question it.

I’ll admit my response to him was not the kindest. I objected to his characterization of me as a “conspiracy theorist” and a divider for asking a question. I think I might have called that an asshole tactic. I don’t know the guy and he doesn’t know me, but he resorted to name calling immediately, without even attempting to give a logical answer. If he had said, ” Hey, we ran out and so we considered it more important to put flags where tourists would see them,” I might have respected the answer even though I don’t agree. But, as I have been told, he is a California liberal Biden supporter who moved here. So, he had to insult me, a person who asks questions, and portray me as a nut job. I have also been told that he had nothing to do with actually planting the flags. So he is also dishonest.

But, the bigger picture, which I always think is revealed in the smaller picture, is that there is a tyrannical attitude that exists among volunteers who are rich liberals. How dare I question him?

I have been a volunteer for many organizations over the years. My husband and I were volunteer coaches locally. I volunteered as a state/regional/national officer for a large sports organization for over twenty years. I’ll never forget when the paid President of that organization said that he wished he didn’t have to deal with volunteers because they are the most demanding, entitled people he worked with and that you could NEVER question their decisions or performance. We were all insulted, but when you think of it, he was right.

While most volunteers are good people with good motives and intentions, there is always that group who will use their volunteer status as a shield for arrogance and poor behavior. They will put themselves on a pedestal and use the phrase, ” I’m not getting paid for this,” as an excuse for all kinds of incompetence and exploitation. Their motives are self-serving as they wait for the numerous accolades for their service.

( I know what you are thinking. Didn’t I just say that I had been a volunteer for years? Does that mean I acted like that? I don’t think I did. I won’t lie, there were times when I questioned why I was doing certain things for free, but I loved what I was doing enough to get over it. And I and the volunteers I worked with, focused on the spirit of what we were doing, not the accolades. )

If you add “liberal” and ” rich person” to the lable of volunteer, well then you have the toxic trifecta. When the rich liberals ( and, yes, even conservatives sometimes) volunteer for something, they make sure EVERYBODY knows about it, praises them for it, and kneels at their generous altar of superiority. To be honest, it bothered me every time Trump reminded everyone that he donated his salary as President to various causes. I felt it was self serving. Besides, did he really need the salary?

But the liberal rich make a vocation out of pointing out their volunteering and donations to causes. Funny, because some of the best volunteers in our town, the members of our local fire company, are the most humble, dedicated people I know. They don’t get enough thanks, but when they do, they take it all in stride and keep going. They don’t get on their high horse even though they easily could. And they probably spend more money on volunteering than they can afford.

The attitudes of these liberal, rich, volunteers mirror so closely the current ruling elite in Washington. How dare we, the great unwashed, question them, their motives, their tactics, their actions? Why, they only do this for the good of all! They paint us as the problem merely because we ask the questions. They call us dividers while they claim to want unity. They plead their “public service” while they reap financial gain and the accolades of their “toadies.” Their actions and attitudes during the Covid scam are a prime example. How dare we question their faulty data, their tyrannical mandates, their destruction of the Constitution? After all, it’s for the “good of the country.”

And their acolytes have the same attitude.

There once was a bumper sticker that said, “Question Authority.” I’d like to have a new one that says, “Question Everyone.” When you do, you will find out so much about the people volunteering, “serving” and running for office in your town, state, and country. If they can’t handle legitimate questions about their actions, if they have to resort to calling you names because of them, their motives are purely self serving.

I’d like to believe that people have decent motives, but like Reagan said, I am going to have to “trust but verify” from this moment on.
