Yesterday, July 1, Facebook, in conjunction with a group called ” Living After Hate,” launched a new kind of pop up warning. Here is a picture of one them:

Interesting, isn’t it? A post to remind Facebook subscribers that someone they know just might be an extremist. Then our Facebook friends offer us advice about how to determine if someone is an “extremist” and how they can help their friend.

This post tells subscribers that there are “extremists” out there who are trying to manipulate them and make them angry. Let’s see, would that be Antifa and BLM? Environmental extremist groups? Jihadists? Nope. Facebook is looking at ONE kind of “extremist.” They are even working with a group called “Life After Hate.” It’s a non-profit group run by a former skin head who has “reformed’ and a variety of other domestic terrorism “experts.” They were given $400,000 by the Obama administration and then DHS gave them $750,000 in September, 2020.

If you go to their website and read their information, you’ll find that almost every person listed as running the organization claims a focus on extremism by white supremacists. Nowhere on their site does the group discuss any other domestic terrorists, you know, the ones who have actually committed acts of terrorism.

I wonder why that is? Is it because it’s not the cool thing to do? Is it because they are “woke?” Why do they consciously ignore the violence perpetrated by the groups not mentioned on their site even though they say:

“Our vision, is a world that allows people to change and contribute to a society without violence.” They go on to say that “It was these principles that guided us away from lives of hate and that drive us to help individuals exit hate groups today and to support those who have already left.”

Founded in 2011, they say that their “primary goal is to interrupt violence committed in the name of ideological or religious beliefs” and they they “do this through education, interventions, academic research, and outreach.”

Sounds great, right? But, if you read everything they write, you’ll be struck by the fact that many different groups are listed as targets of domestic extremists and they are dedicated to stopping that for each one. Every group except one. Can you guess what it is? I’ll bet you can. White people, apparently, are never victims of domestic extremists.

This action by FACEBOOK and the involvement of this group that supposedly is against hate is all about silencing dissent against the Marxist platform. They talk about making things better, but their real goal is to get rid of the voices that disagree. Again, they reveal themselves to be opposed to freedom.

I want you to remember that a couple of months ago, the DOJ, FBI, and other government agencies requested that social media companies help them track down “extremists” using the posts of their customers. And let’s not forget that the NSA has recently been caught spying on Tucker Carlson.

Oh, and didn’t the FBI create fake evidence against a political candidate who eventually won the Presidency?

If social media companies are going to make it their mission to spy on people, report people, coerce and extort people to do what the government wants, it’s time to take a hard look at the monopoly that they have over social media. They need to be broken up in the same way AT&T was broken up decades ago.

And we need to keep warning people about the tyranny of Zuckerburg and his gang.

Their little warnings are not going to impede my free speech. And if you are a person who will “report” those who say things you don’t like, watch out. What goes against us now, will go against you later. It happens in every single totalitarian government.

Oh, and by the way, Facebook, this pop up goes against MY community standards. I don’t permit posts that encourage people to report other people for thinking freely.

A friend of mine told me a story yesterday that her children are being bullied and teased in their middle school because they are ” Total Straights.” That means that other kids are giving them a hard time because they aren’t gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual. They are not trans or whatever other sexual orientation there is. It is upsetting to them and to her.

I want you to stop and think about that. We are constantly chided and told that we must teach our children to accept others, regardless of their sexual orientation. We must respect their preferred pronouns, actions, etc. We must never make them feel like they are second class citizens.

And I agree with that. I am a ” live and let live” person. If you want to live your life any way you want, I will certainly not judge or abuse you for that as long as you don’t hurt others or me.

But, it isn’t reciprocal. Apparently, some of those who have different sexual preferences have a hard time letting others live their lives as they want. They are angry, so the normal children are their targets.

When my friend told me this, she was very upset. And who wouldn’t be. You teach your children certain values and how to treat others, and they are harassed in school. And, I’m not talking about a school in some faraway state or in one of the urban counties on the western side of the bridge. I’m talking about a school in my little county, a rural country with a small school system.

Imagine what that is like for these two children or any child who is heterosexual in this school. In order to be accepted, they have to alter their identity, their beliefs or be constantly teased and bullied. They must feel like they are flawed, second class citizens, uncool and unaccepted.

I don’t know about you, but when I was in middle school it was hard enough just being in middle school. I was a skinny kid with braces who got teased for being skinny and in braces. I remember thinking that I was some kind of freak. Imagine if the added pressure of not being accepted because I was not trans, lesbian, or bi. I don’t think I would have made it. And that’s without social media there to stir the pot.

Now, I know what the militant LGBTQ Plus groups will say. They will say that this is not a problem. They will say that this is just making up for all the times that kids were treated badly for being different.. They’ll say that if heterosexual kids are being teased and derided, it is well deserved because someone, somewhere did that to LGBTQ Plus kids. And that makes it okay.

How sad and pathetic that we have come to a place in our world, in our time, that acceptance is only for some and not others. It’s revenge, plain and simple. But remember who they claim the problem is. It’s us. Those of us who question something, anything about how sexuality and gender is being used in our society to manipulate and indoctrinate our children.

It’s so bad that some of these kids are now adopting gay and lesbian actions in an effort to fit in. Just the thing the gay community fought against for their group.

In addition, there is a story about a spa in California where a person in transition from man to woman was parading around the women’s side of the facility naked, junk and all. Needless to say, a woman complained because she was there with her young daughter, someone who should not be exposed to male genetalia. The spa’s response? The person was a transexual and they could not prevent him/her from being naked in the women’s facility.

You would think that transitioning person would have SOME sensitivity about the issue. After all, don’t they tell us all the time that it is damaging for transitioning people are scarred forever by using male bathrooms and being exposed to other males? But it’s okay for the heterosexual woman and her young daughter to deal with that, trauma or not. After all, their straight and don’t deserve consideration.

Oh, and by the way, the woman who complained was the one who was harrassed by other customers for her intolerance. Seriously.

Isn’t it funny that all these groups who claim to be abused so much are now abusing others? What happened to acceptance?

Oh….that’s right. It’s not about getting along, mutual understanding, and true freedom to live your life.

It’s about them making you and your children conform to their lifestyles and beliefs; it’s about division perpetrated to weaken our country.

It’s called Marxism.

Those first three words are in the Olympic motto.

I think we need to change it. We are forgetting an important quality of some Olympic athletes; hypocrisy.

When I was young, I had two dreams. One was to be a horse rancher. The other was to be an Olympic athlete. Neither happened. Horse ranching is not a very lucrative occupation and you have to have athletic talent to be an Olympian. I was lacking in the talent and the focus and drive required. Add to that the fact that it was the last 60’s and early 70’s and there just weren’t that many opportunities to train as a track athlete, especially when one moved around every four years as I did. Dad was career Air Force.

But I would have given anything, ANYTHING, if I could have the opportunity.

I always enjoyed watching the Olympics. I was awed by the dedication and spirit of these athletes, even the ones who didn’t win medals. Or who came from countries where the participation was difficult. I even worked at the gymnastics competition in 1996 and got to have the Olympic experience first hand.

Something has changed over the years. Remember how incredible athletes were so proud to run around the track waving our flag? Or those who cried during the National Anthem while they held their hands over their hearts? Remember so many of them proclaiming how proud they were to represent our country?

However, for some current athletes, the burden of coming from a country that supports their training, that has allowed them to seek out and achieve their dreams, is too much of a cross to bear.

Take Gwen Berry. Poor Gwen. They tricked her the other day and had the NERVE to play our National Anthem during the award ceremony for her event. Gwen had gotten the bronze and a spot in Tokyo. And, when she stepped on the medal stand, those evil racists played the Star Spangled Banner.

Apparently this song that represents our country, her country, is extremely offensive to her. Somehow, she thought that because she doesn’t like our national anthem, they wouldn’t play it. Maybe they should have played a Beyonce song?

So, like the responsible adult she is, she threw a tantrum on the stand, putting her t-shirt over her head and acting like a two year old. Then when people called her out for this, she reacted with the normal adolescent response, ” I was set up.” ( For the record, Gwen, I tried that excuse when my Mom and Dad came to Ocean City looking for me when I was 15 and was not in the place I should have been. It didn’t work. My Dad put my ass in the car and took me home. I didn’t see outside for a while.)

In Gwen’s case, apparently the people in the sound booth KNEW she didn’t like the anthem, had promised not to play it, and did it anyway. What jerks. Nevermind that the other two medal winners seemed fine with it, ( and dared to act proud), because it’s all about Gwen who is an “activist athlete.”

It was tough because she didn’t know what to do when the anthem came on. Should she run away screaming, throwing her medal to the ground? Should she set her hair on fire in protest? Or maybe stand there respectfully like any normal human would have and say something later? Nope. She put that t-shirt over her head like a two year old who just found out she couldn’t have a cookie. And then she said it was a set up.

It’s not the first time Ms. Berry has made it all about her. She’s done this before while wearing a USA uniform. Raised a fist, got suspended, and then complained because her sponsors took away her “revenue.” See, Gwen, people don’t like to be embarrassed by ungrateful, entitled and self-absorbed athetes, especially when they know how many hundreds of others would be thrilled to represent their country with or without sponsorships.

Of course Gwen listed all the points in her rationale; “murders” of criminals by police while said criminals were resisting arrest, phony virtual signalling by companies via commercials about black lives matters, you know, all the normal laundry list.

How dare we question her, an activist athlete who wants to go to the Olympics on our dime, who gets paid to train by sponsors and tax dollars, for embarrassing us in pubic? She says she doesn’t hate our country. She just doesn’t think that anthem represents her.

Here’s the thing, Gwen, when you wear our name on YOUR chest, when you agree to compete under our colors, you need not act like a fool. You need to stand there respectfully and reflect on all the good things this country has done, for you, for so many others. You need to think about all the people who won’t have a chance to go compete internationally even though they have trained as hard as you have. You also need to think how you made YOURSELF the center of attention and stole the moment for two other athletes who have never wronged you.

I do have an idea for you. If this country is so horrible, so unfair, so evil, don’t compete for it. Don’t wear the apparel. Don’t allow that country to pay your way to Tokyo and don’t accept the stipend, room and board that is provided. Step down and allow someone else who has worked just as hard to take your place. Unlike Communist countries, no one is forcing you to go.

Even better, find a perfect country to represent. I’m sure there are many out there who would love to have you. Sweden maybe? Or maybe Ghana? Or maybe North Korea. I am sure Little Rocket Man would be happy to have you and will allow you to do all the protesting you want to do. I’m told they provide free housing and meals in their facilities.

Bottom line is, if you continue to represent this horrible country in athletic competition, Gwen, you are a hypocrite, plain and simple. And I know you don’t want that. So, give that spot to someone else who would be thrilled to have it.

We will support you if you make that decision. We don’t want those offended by us to represent us.

As I was on my daily run the other day, I was asking myself how we got here, a place where we have two populations in our country diametrically opposed to each other. I mean, don’t we all basically believe the same things, you know, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, etc. ?

And then it dawned on me. The answer is no. Regardless of what they say, the Democrats, the Progressives, the Marxists, don’t find this statement, ” We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” to be true. They actually don’t want these things at all. They DON’T believe in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. In fact, they view them as impediments to their ultimate goals. Totalitinarian control and tyranny of our country.

All you have to do is look at what they DO and SAY. In the past five years ( or more), they have demanded that we not treat each other as equals, but give some sub groups priority over others in all things, rights, economics, education, etc. Not only that, but they have become intent on subjugating certain races and sexual affiliations which were once mainstream, to second class citizen status. Now, in our schools, the promote teaching one group of children that they are to blame for the oppression of another group of children simply because of their white skin.

They have also promoted an anti-life agenda with support of abortion right up to birth and the belief that the elderly in nursing homes shouldn’t get protection from a virus that can actually kill them. If you live in an inner city and are murdered, your life is not important. The one caveat is if you are someone committing a crime and you get shot and killed by a cop, then they will erect a statue to commemorate your life of crime and prosecute the cop. If you are someone who disagrees with the Marxist agenda, your life can be forfeited as collateral damage as Ashli Babbit’s was. And your murderer will not be identiifed or prosecuted. A life’s meaning, in their belief system, is in how it can be exploited for their political gain.

Liberty has been almost forbidden as the Marxists want to eliminate all free speech, free practice of religion, and the right to make one’s own decisions, especially about taking an untested, unapproved vaccine. They cleverly hide the motives for these denials by telling us they are banning hate speech or speech because it hurts feelings or, in the case of the vaccine, we want to keep people safe.

Of course, if it is one of the Marxists calling Conservatives, Republicans, Trump Supporters, etc. hateful names, free speech should apply. Say the wrong thing about the privileged and protected groups and get banned, fired, or boycotted. If you are a major corporation, expect a huge “fine” to be paid to some politically acceptable victim group. It’s called extortion and blackmail.

As for safety, take the jab, stay at home, wear a mask to protect the collective. But, when it comes to providing funding for police to protect individual citizens from crime, safety takes a back seat to pandering to groups who want to be able to commit crimes without consequence. Cartels in charge, anyone? Go to any large city and see this in action.

Religious belief, unless it fits under the auspices of the cult of Marxism, is ridiculed, demeaned, and in some cases, banned. California tried to pretend banning was for “safety’s sake” during the recent COVID scam, but they have been pushing religion out of the public square for years. No prayer in schools, no nativity scenes on public land, and on and on. Of course, one rare exception to that is Islam, which gets a free pass on the anti-religion front. After all, Muslims are considered part of the protected class, for the time being. So, play that call for prayer everyday.

The biggest revelation that the Marxists don’t believe in the rights listed in the Constitution is the federal overreach that has grown by leaps and bounds in the current regime. The Department of Justice doesn’t even pretend to care about rule of law, equal protection under the law, or innocent until proven guilty. The hundreds of people being detained in jails for the January 6th breach of the Capitol are prime examples. Those who have been indicted for such minor crimes as trespassing on federal property and disorderly conduct have been held without for months in denial of their legal rights. Meanwhile, people who have destroyed cities and looted and burned down businesses in the name of “social justice” are walking the streets and making money off their crimes. The Marxists see no problem here.

We have to understand that we are currently are in more than a power struggle between two groups that want control. We are in a war with two distinct ideologies, one that supports freedom as defined in the Constitution and one that prefers full control over the people by the tyrants in government. This group’s leader even went so far as to remind the people that guns won’t keep the government from eliminating dissent because the government has F-15’s and nukes. Remember the tank running over the protestor in Tianemmen Square in China. Yeah, that.

Face it folks, the second group are not public servants and do not view us, the citizens, as the people they serve. They view us in much the same way the Communist Chinese Party views the people of China, tools to achieve the goals and demands of government as decided by government, not the people. We are means to an end. And, if we don’t fufill that capacity, we are obstacles to be removed.

This is why you see Presidents signing unconstitutional Executive Orders. Why you see Governors shutting down businesses. It’s why you see the FBI working with social media, phone companies, and other sources to arrest people for merely stating their belief in freedom. It’s why school boards can shut off the public comments of parents or totally disregard parental input and continue to teach real institutional, systemic racism against White children.

Their followers are fervent believers who will do whatever is needed to please their Marxist leaders. Threaten others? No problem. Riot and burn? No problem. Blackmail and extort money? No problem. Attack citizens? No, problem. It’s as if the Hitler youth have reincarnated themselves and taken their place on Social media and in the streets.

What do we do if the dichotomy of beliefs continues? Unfortunately, the situation is almost impossible to resolve without violence and loss. Even those who promote seccession of certain states or sections of the country understand that this would only happen after prolonged wars. Southern States that secceeded in the 1860’s were not allowed to go their merry ways by the North. It just doesn’t work that way.

And, while those who believe in freedom are willing to let the Marxists live their lives as long as their actions don’t affect the rest of us, it doesn’t work in the reverse. Marxism IS an ideology of complete and full control of all people. There are no individuals. They will not just “leave the rest of us” alone. Live and let live is not something they agree with. To use a Star Trek analogy, they are the Borg.

It’s not hard to imagine how this ends. One thing we must start doing is to get louder in our views. We can’t sit out local government meetings any more. We can’t merely sit quietly while Marxists scream their views far and wide. We must push back. I’ve said before that it is important to prepare for the fight that is coming. Identify who will support and defend you legally and physically. Become acquainted with your local law enforcement, particularly sheriffs. Know your rights, because as long as there is a chance that they will be protected, you must be able to state and cite them. No one listens to someone who doesn’t have a clue.

Take your children and grandchildren back. If the public and private schools are promoting a Marxist agenda, remove them and homeschool. If you can’t do it, find someone who can. It’s good to see states like Florida banning the teaching of Critical Race Theory in schools. Others are requiring that teachers teach about the evils of Communism.

And finally, PAY ATTENTION. Be informed about current events. Volunteer to monitor elections and be prepared to report problems in them. Don’t allow anyone to violate your rights without speaking up. Research candidates fully before voting for them. Don’t allow the media to do that for you.

We must preserve freedom. We are the world’s last chance.

I have been alive through the terms of 11 Presidents. Some I liked, some I really didn’t like. Never, ever have I felt so frightened about the mental instability of a President as I do now.

At first, it was clear Biden was mentally in decline. We all watched as he lost his train of thought, couldn’t read, couldn’t remember, and couldn’t climb steps. We watched Jill lead him around, his aids yell at him and lead him away from reporters, and foreign leaders laugh at him. We knew he was incapacitated.

Wednesday and yesterday we saw something different. Wednesday, while rambling on about the Second Amendment, Biden implied that our government could attack protesters with F-15’s and nukes. He was trying to tell us that it was useless to have guns to fight the government because they would just annihilate us with weapons of war. I guess he and his little minions thought this was a great argument for gun control. Yeah, about that.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Thursday he came out to announce a deal for an infrastructure funding bill that is well over 1 billion dollars. During this announcement was when we saw something that crossed the sanity line.

Is Biden Losing It? Creepy Joe Bizarrely Leans Forward, Whispers to Reporters

If you read the article and then watch the video, you will see Biden lean forward and whisper about the bill in a creepy, stalkerish, rapist, pedophile sounding voice that is beyond just inappropriate. It is a voice that no rational person would use in public.

After hearing this, if you still think Joe has all his marbles and is able to do this job, you might want to get your head checked.

I don’t care if you love or hate Trump, you must admit that he never displayed the kind of bizarre behavior Joe is currently showing. Is he cracking under the pressure of the failures of his administration? Does he think this if funny or cool? Is someone telling him to do this?

I don’t think so.

I think we are seeing the complete deterioration of a man who should never have been put in this position when he was young, much less now. He is losing it right before our eyes. Problem is, the rest of the world has seen this for a long time while our news media has ignored it. And if you don’t think our enemies won’t take advantage of this, think again.

We have gone past the point that a man who can’t think, remember or speak is merely an embarrassment. Now he is a danger to our country. Is this why he is never alone? Are his handlers there to keep him from starting World War III?

It’s frightening and something needs to be done. Immediately.

*** Second side note. I read an article that stated that if Joe doesn’t get the 70% compliance with vaccines, he is ” out.” I don’t know if that is true or what it means. However, it does seem that Joe is desperately trying to claim success with something, anything.

Desperation in a leader is terrifying. It’s when they start doing the biggest damage.

I can remember the people of our country being threatened in the past. There was Nikita Kruschev, leader of the U.S.S.R. who once said, “We will bury you.” There was the Ayatollah of Iran whose threats were passionantly delivered but filled with fleas, camels and hellfire imagery. And of course, any two bit dictator across the globe who wanted to look strong to his people, could always throw a threat against the U.S. in any speech.

One thing I can’t remember is a U.S. President threatening the American people. Ever.

But now, Joe Biden, Gampy Joe, the Dementia Patient in Chief, has crossed that line. Twice.

The first time it was a quietly whispered threat delivered with squinty eyes while leaning in to the microphone for emphasis. He told us to “get the vaccine.” This was done in the context of an implied threat that if at least 70% of us didn’t get it by July 4th, we wouldn’t get to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. As if Joe has the power to carry through on that. What is he going to do? Arrest anyone who attends fireworks celebrations or has a family get together on the holiday? We are not your grandchildren, Joe. We don’t rub your leg hairs, sit on your lap, or obey your orders.

The most recent threat was yesterday while Joe rambled his way through a statement on the 2nd Amendment after meeting with a panel of the biggest enablers of violence in the United States, including the feckless Mayor of Baltimore whose city is on pace for over 300 murders this year. Here’s the quote: ( prepare yourself because it is one confusing mess for the most part):

” The Second Amendment from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon.” Let me interupt here. First lie. The Second Amendment says “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This does not say that ONLY the members of a militia may own guns, it says that since a militia is necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. So, because we may need a militia to fight for freedom, we shall not infringe on the rights of the people to have “arms” so we can call on them if we need them.

The second lie is that they told citizens which weapons they could own. I don’t know what Joe is reading or if he can actually read, but I don’t see any mention of which weapons citizens could NOT own. National Review writer David Harsanyl, who is an expert on the Second Amendment and wrote a book on the history of American guns, said that in his research he never did run across a law that restricted Americans from owning any weapons before the 1930’s.₁ I’ll bet he’s read more about gun laws than Joe or any of his little toady advisors. Maybe Joe just made that claim like he made up his class rank in law school or his arch enemy Corn Pop.

Joe continues on: “say the blood of the, the blood of patriots, you know (admit it, don’t you immediately think, “the thing” here? I do. ) and all this stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government.”

Excuse me, what the forkin’ hell does all that say?

“Well the tree of liberty is not the blood of patriots, what ‘s happened is that there never been, if you want, if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15’s and maybe some nuclear weapons.” ( I seem to remember another Democrat saying something similar to that once. Oh yeah! It was Congressman Swalwell, he who farts during interviews and bangs Fang Fang. Gee, Joe, you plagairized AGAIN.)

I have to stop and ask Gampy a question here. Is he calling Thomas Jefferson a liar? Because Jefferson, who knew slightly more about figthing for liberty than Joe, said in a letter to William Stephens Smith in 1787, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.” So Gampy steals ideas from Swalwell and denies Thomas Jefferson. That says so much.

Biden sums up this mess with, “The point is that there’s always been the ability to limit, rationally limit, the type of weapon that can be owned and who can own it.”

So, what happened here. Why did Joe see fit to mention that the government could squash any push back from American citizens with F-15’s and nukes? Well, anyone except actual violent rioters like Antifa and BLM.

For one thing, dementia patients like Joe have a tendency to get very testy. In fact, it is one of the signs of dementia in men listed on https://readementia.com/signs-of-dementia-in-men/

If you go to that site, you will see that “mood changes” are listed. And, if you read the entire page, you’ll think it’s a current piece about Biden. It’s so accurate it is scary.

I think Gampy Joe is really upset that we, all of his subjects, aren’t doing everything he says to do and he is having a temper tantrum. Like the Mafia Don shaking down a store owner, he makes a threat without actually making a threat. Think, ” Gee, nice place you got here. Be a shame if you tried to defend it with guns and it got blown up by F-15’s and nukes.”

Joe forgot one thing. He is not a dictator. He’s not even really President or in charge. And people in this country, well, we don’t take kindly to threats from anyone. Especially old, foolish, dementia stricken, men who think they can tell us what to do. There’s no law that says we have to obey him when he tells us to go against our personal freedoms.

So, there’s that. Here’s my suggestion to Joe. ( Actually, it’s the second suggestion, the first one is kind of obscene.)

Have Jill get you an ice cream Joe. And shut up. We’ll all be celebrating the 4th with our family and friends. You know, real Americans.

It all makes sense now. This whole thing of Joe Biden being installed as President.

They gave Joe the ultimate participation trophy, an appointment by the Marxists, I mean Democrats, to the White House.

Think about it. After over 40 years in government, Joe has never really accomplished anything. He’s like that little league player who never got a hit or caught a ball, never stole a base or scored a run. Heck, he didn’t even cheer from the bench. He had playing time but was just, well, not very good.

And Joe is that guy. No matter which office he held, Joe was worse than mediocre. And he lied, about his life, about his wife’s death, about this class rank, just about everything. And he plagairized. He plagairized campaign speeches, even one from a Kennedy.

One thing he was fairly good at was being a racist. He was friends with Robert KKK Byrd from West Virginia, a one time Head Dragon of the Klu Klux Klan. He once said that intergating schools would turn them into ” jungles.” He even said that Barack Obama was a rare thing, a clean, well spoken Black man. Recently, he imitated a black accent when he promised to “release the chains” from black people in debt. And who can forget that weeks old gem where he claimed that black people couldn’t be successful in business because they didn’t have lawyers and accountants. Yes, Joe could be the MVP of racism.

But, in a move that eerily mimicked the GOP’s strategy for picking candidates before Trump, the Marxist Democrats gave the big participation trophy to Joe, sort of like the GOP did in the past to McCain and Romney. Hey, they had been around for so long, why not reward them even though they never accomplished anything. The GOP wasn’t successful in giving those two losers the big participation trophies though. No one like McCain and Romney impaled himself on the eve of election by kneeling before Obama and kissing his….feet.

But it worked this time for the Dems. Why? Because they wanted exactly what Joe is, a useless, brainless, feckless, bought off cardboard cutout. They wanted him to sit in the office, follow their commands, read their scripts, and sign off on any policy that ruins this country. They wanted him to be the ultimate of Participation Trophy winners. And he is. They made sure that by hook or crook, it was his.

And Joe is so excited. The moment he got that trophy, he shuffled off to show his caretaker, I mean wife, Jill and their creepy failed son, Hunter. He sat at the big old desk, forgot where he was, got reminded, and smiled. He went to Europe on that fancy plane, publicly embarrassed himself and our country, and smiled. He met with Putin, who probably has real trophies, and pretended that he beat him by striking him out. He forgot that four balls equal a walk. Putin didn’t even try, even hitting left handed, but he still crushed Joe.

But, Joe got to come home to the accolades of his protectors, the mainstream media, who pretended the Participation Trophy meant something and that Joe had actually achieved MVP status.

Unfortunately, in the end, participation trophies are meaningless and are thrown out with the trash when the recipients’ parents discover the ruse and no longer wish to pretend.

Just like what will eventually happen to Joe. He will end up on the dustbin of history, a worthless artifact of mediocrity.

Let’s just hope our country survives.

As many of you know, I had many different jobs in my school system. I tell people it’s because I didn’t do any of them well, but now I’m beginning to think that the road I followed led me to being able see the whole picture better.

There were three jobs I held while in administration. They were Social Studies Specialist and then Coordinator of Testing and Staff Development. That trifecta seems to be valuable right now, especially as we address the implementation of Critical Race Theory in schools.

As Social Studies Specialist, I witnessed the implementation of State Social Studies Standards as they began the move from actually teaching history, government, geography, etc. to teaching revisionist history, government propaganda, and climate change instead of geography. As the various Social Studies “experts” promoted Howard Zinn’s twisted Marxist version of our history, I saw them denounce the “old white men” who founded this country and promote Marx and Lenin as the creators of all valid social constructs. I watched as they totally ignored accomplishments of all Americans and depicted all of us as exploitave and oppressive. Anything European was evil.

As Coordinator of Testing I saw how test scores became the highest priority and children became merely a commodity that needed to be pushed, prodded and, frankly, abused to get the scores up and up. The idea of test scores being the best indicator of school system success laid part of the foundation for Critical Race Theory. More on that later.

Staff Development dove tailed with testing and became a tool for indoctrination and intimidation of staff.

I’m not going to lie. I participated in some of this nonsense. I was one of those educators who thought we could make things better and who was naive enough to think that the people directing us knew how to do that. I bought into the idea that we were underserving certain members of our population. In all honesty, that might have been true, but I didn’t realize that what we were being told to do was achieving the exact opposite of boosting student achievement. And, it was allowing radical and divisive groups to train our teachers and then our children.

I confirmed that realization when I saw some materials currently being used for staff development in our county. While the county claims they are not training staff in Critical Race Theory they are using materials that come straight out of the CRT playbook. These are materials from a group called ” Courageous Conversations. ” Sounds good, doesn’t it? “Courageous” means brave. “Coversations” means two way dialogue between people, a give and take of ideas.

Sad thing, neither of those words apply to this training. It is not a courageous conversation when you bring people to a group and proceed to talk at them about how their skin color is all that matters, who they are is the entire problem, and that they need to be less of who they are to be successful. No amount of cute phrases and politically correct rhetoric makes this okay.

It’s nothing new. Courageous Conversations has been around for over 15 years. It started small and made its way around the country indoctrinating teachers into what I call ” White Guilt Instructional Strategies.” This included not having the same academic expectations for all.

It’s an action similar to what the CCP did to Falun Gong. A population is identified as problematic to the promotion of a political system, then they are scapegoated, then they are forced to “confess” their sins, and then they are eliminated either physically or spiritually. At that point, they must adapt or disappear. Teachers must either go along or leave.

Meanwhile, don’t think that the students “of color” will have better academic achievement because of this biased training. Far from it. In fact, I think they will suffer more.

One of the things that happens when teachers are taught to be guilty about who they are is that they can no longer teach with authenticity, with authority, with skill. You see, teaching is 90% confidence and 10% content. A teacher has to believe that he/she can teach each student that walks into the classroom no matter who that student is. And that teacher needs to know he/she can use professional skill and judgement to tailor instruction to that student. And a good teacher can’t fake who they are.

How can a teacher do that if they are constantly told that THEY are the problem, that their teaching skills are compromised by their race and background, and that they cannot overcome or even use that background to reach all students? They can’t.

This belief leads to teachers tiptoeing around teaching Black students. Instead of seeing each student as a unique individual with gifts and talents, teachers now see them as a group that has been oppressed by the teacher’s group. They will alter expectations, which often means lowering them for Black students in order not to offend or further “oppress” that student. They will be unable to see past race to a student’s true ability.

An example is something that happened approximately two years prior to my retirement. I was back in the classroom, a place I never should have left because it was my strength. ( However, perhaps all those different jobs led me to be a better teacher.) Since the early 2000’s, test data, classroom grades, discipline, and anything else that happened in education, was disaggregated into every possible sub-group to determine which “groups,” not individuals, were succeeding and which weren’t. In order to prod teachers to do a better job, it was decreed that teachers would be evaluated on the disaggregated pass/fail ( grade distribution) data from their classes. For example if you had a class of 15 Black students and 15 White students, and 10 of those Black students failed, 2 White students failed, 5 Black students passed, and 13 White students passed, you were in trouble. Obviously, you were doing something wrong for certain groups. No mention was ever made of students as individuals, just racial groups.

Teachers being humans and humans being true to nature, they took the easiest path to “success.” Instead of working harder with failing students as individuals to get them to pass, they made sure their percent of passing students improved, whether or not those students actually achieved. So, those students that passed may not have actually learned anything academic. But, the grade distribution looked better so the teacher was lauded as a success.

The education powers wised up to this and changed their approach to look at grading and the coinciding state testing data for the same groups in each classroom. So if teachers were just passing students to look good, they would be found out.

But, again, nothing got better. Now teachers just lowered the expectations for all students to just learn what was on the state testing. So, again, Black students were cheated of academic rigor along with everyone else.

This is the kind of “racism” that will truly impact students of all colors. Gladys Ladson-Billings in her book Dreamkeepers: Successful Teachers of African American Children, shared the stories of different teachers who had success with minority children. Most of the stories involved teachers holding the students to high academic standards, of teachers treating children as individuals, and teachers showing their caring for all students.

Nowhere in the book does she describe a teacher who tells African American children they are “oppressed” and their White friends are the children of oppressers. ( Which is weird because she now is a big supporter of CRT which does just that. What changed?)

So now, we rush to implement this new theory which does nothing to improve the lives of children, no matter the race. The alternative?

Teach educators to view students as individuals, not members of racial groups. Teach them to assess a student’s strengths and weaknesses and teach with and despite them. Teach them how to form good relationships with students, regardless of race. Share with them the fact that all of us can overcome our negative circumstances and achieve.

Most of all, teach them that ALL humans, no matter who they are, should be treated with kindness, respect, and humanity rather than hatred and blame. Teach them how to listen to each other and try to understand our differences and similarities.

I call that “Critical Human Theory.”

A couple of weeks ago, a member of BLM promised that they would take their fight out of the cities and into the small towns and suburbs. The picture you see above is part of that plan.

I’ve lived in my county for over forty years. In that time, I won’t say there hasn’t been ANY racism, but for the most part the people in our county have lived together peacefully. But that’s not good enough. What you see above is a demonstration to remove a memorial that lists the names of county residents who fought for the Confederacy from the courthouse lawn. It’s too offensive, too hurtful they say. Funny, because it has been there forever and I will bet most residents of this county had never even heard of it until recently.

You see, there are people in our country who want and NEED to use events like this to cause chaos and division. They are mostly Marxists masquerading as Democrats. They want certain people to be victims permanently so they can use their victimhood as a platform to make demands, coerce government officials, elicit donations ( and I mean MILLIONS), and exert their desire for a country controlled by one party, one group. By the way, they want to be that group. (Although, on a side note, I wonder how that will turn out when there are so many different ethnic and political groups who want to be in control. Will it be like the Mafia dons of New York with constant turf wars and assassinations?)

So, these race baiters create a cult. The cult is Racism and they indoctrinate others by using stories about how it is the White man who is holding the Black race down, who has been the problem in the world since time began, and who are the oppressors of all. They exploit every event, every word, every statue to do so.

And while they raise money and gain power, the plight of the people they pretend to care about just gets worse. The ghettos are still ghettos, the murders in big cities continue, and the viscious cycle of poverty never ends. Well, except the people in charge of the race cult get richer and escape to wealthy neighborhoods. And, the people who govern those cities live in comfort and privilege.

But now the race cult is upset because they have overstayed their welcome in the big cities. They don’t think enough of us in other parts of the country have suffered enough. Now they want to make their move to small towns and rural areas.

One of the things you have to understand about Marxists is that they want you, the individual, not to see yourself or others as individuals. They want you to believe that the “collective” is the important thing and all must adhere to the wants and needs of the collective. Government must be the parents and the deities that we love and worship. In order to do that, NO ONE must be immune to the victimhood ideology. NO ONE. Not the people in cities, in towns, in rural areas. Yes, they even want the millionaires in my little town who hide behind their waterfront properties to come to heel. ( Funny thing is, they allow any small group to influence the “collective” when it is convenient.

So, they set out to find racism and oppression everywhere they can. By doing so, they tell minorities that they are helpless against the horrible White people, even those who are not racist, have not held anyone down, etc. They can’t let any White person escape their “guilt by skin color.” They use a great phrase for it, “white privilege.” It’s so clean, so clear, and doesn’t sound racist because how can calling someone “privileged” be racist?

And the White people, like the ones in this picture above, lap that accusation up like a cat at a milk bowl. They are more than happy to beg forgiveness for something they have not done. In the MIddle Ages, religious zealots would self flagellate with whips of rope and sharp thorns. It was their way to punish themselves for whatever sins or flaws they percieved in themselves, true or not. They wallowed in the pain and guilt.

And today’s White Liberals are happy to do the same with the charges of “racism.” Why? Because it keeps them from really doing anything to help others. They virtue signal all over the place and then retreat to their safe little homes without ever lifting a finger to solve a problem. When have you EVER seen one of these limo Liberals in the ghetto actually helping anyone? Once a photo op or some holiday event or protest is over, they are gone. Some of them don’t want the problem solved because they make money and gain power from it. Others are just masochists.

What they and many of the race victims don’t realize is that their actions not only perpetuate racism and helplessness, they promote it.

After World War II no population would have more cause than any other to erase the horrible leftover landmarks of the Nazis and the Holocaust than the Jewish people. Yet, they left parts of the concentration camps standing. Why?

They knew something today’s population can’t figure out. In order to stand strong and move on from tragedy, they knew that generations to come had to be able to see the “monuments” that remained to preserve the memory. It was a way to tell their descendants, ” Yes, millions of us were systematically murdered by evil people, but we are still here. We overcame this horror. We will never forget it, but we will not let us be held back by it. And you should not be held back by it either. We will never let it happen again.” It is a statement that the individual CAN overcome his/her circumstances and the crimes against his/her people.

But, the Marxists can’t let that happen with our citizens. In order for their vision of the government as the only ones you can rely on to remove all obstacles in your life, they must remove all history they consider “offensive.” It is the only way to discount the people’s progress from slavery, from violence, from hatred. To use an adapted form of Obama’s statement about how business people didn’t build their businesses ( “You didn’t build that”), Marxists want to say, ” You didn’t overcome that.”

By doing this, they weaken everyone. Black people, especially younger generations, are weakened because they see themselves as oppressed and helpless, not able to accomplish anything without government. They can sit around and blame everyone if they don’t succeed. White people, especially younger generations, are weakened because they see themselves as oppressors, guilty, not worthy of self pride in whatever accomplishment they might have. They can’t take credit for anything they have done. They are paralyzed by their practice of constant self flagellation.

This leaves the Marxists, the Communists, the One World Order participants an opening to come in, take over, and squeeze the freedoms out of our national fabric.

Once those freedoms are gone for some, they are gone for everyone. Once the individual is no longer valued for who he/she is, everyone is expendable. Government can run over anyone and everyone like a giant monolithic tank as the Chinese military did in Tianamen Square. No one will be spared. Not even the rich and currently powerful.

How do we fight this? One thing we do is leave monuments that offend us where they are. Instead of gnashing our teeth about how offensive they are and that we can’t go on while they stand, we need to show them to our children and say, “See, this used to be the way it was. But we fought and worked to make it different. You can do the same. You can overcome any obstacles in your way. “

And we need to teach this now.

( A couple of side notes. One, many of the people in the picture were bussed into our county to protest. The money to do that came from powerful groups who are probably “anonymous.” They also have innundated our county council with emails promoting the removal of the statue. They are not county taxpayers and have no standing, but yet they strive to force their will on us.

Second, many of the white people above are shameless hypocrites. I know them. They live in big waterfront mansions and would rather die than have a minority live next to or even near them. They don’t take any real action to help minorities, they merely virtue signal. )

This is a local issue in my area. The monument in question lists the names of citizens of Talbot County who fought for the Confederacy during the Civil War. It has been there for over 100 years. Now, a group in Talbot County wants it removed because it offends them. Here’s my letter to the County Council regarding the issue:

Dear Members of the Talbot County Council, 
I know you have heard every possible argument for and against the removal of the Talbot Boys Monument from the Courthouse lawn. Therefore, I won’t give you arguments but ask you questions that you need to think about regarding this action and all possible future actions that may be similar. 

1. Does the County Council have the legal right to remove any monument off of public ground regardless of when the monument was placed there, who it is memorializing, and who placed the monument where it is? Also, is there any past precedent for this being done with other monuments? If not, you will be setting precendent for any and all monuments that will be placed on county property from here forward. 

2. How many people must be offended by a monument or statue for it to qualify for removal? Must it be a majority of county residents? A certain percentage? One county resident? Have you defined this before considering removal or are you just playing it by ear? Is it the voice that shouts the loudest that gets your primary consideration?

3. Do people who do not live in this county have the right to influence the council’s decision on an action taken in this county? In the same vein, is money from outside Talbot County being used to influence the county’s decision? Is outside money being used to fund protests and actions? Where and who is this money from? Is money being used as a incentive for the county council to vote for or against removal? 

4. In the future, if a group is offended by a statue on public property, will the council act in the same way regarding a request to have it removed? Will it matter what the ethnic, gender, or political affilliation of that group might be? Are certain groups given preferential treatment?

I believe you need to consider these questions carefully and honestly. I think this is an opportunity for you to teach the young people of our county many lessons. One is that history is history, good or bad. Second, being offended by something isn’t necessarily something they need to avoid, but something they should confront so they can resolve to move forward with the intent of facing reminders of an ugly past and rising above those events. It’s something all of us need to learn.
